This is exactly how I feel lol. I opened the set right away to make sure all the discs were in there. Then i checked to make sure there was nothing wrong with the disc art. Then I finally checked to see if the guide was in the back lol I know OCD.

During the cantina scene in episode IV I just kept thinking of the game Mass Effect which I thought was awesome. Talking about Mass Effect they need to make a movie for it...

Some quick minor criticisms of the film:
1. When the storm stroopers tried to break into Leia's ship the rebels should have thrown grenades into the room, that would have made it harder for them to break in.

2. They should have done more to show how powerful Obi-Wan is.

3. I felt that the movie ended too soon, I wanted more. Maybe 150 minute runtime would've been perfect? They could use those extra 30 minutes to show more training scenes between Obi-Wan and Luke.

PQ was great, especially considering how old this movie is. SQ was incredible.

My brother wait till you get to empire. You will have a whole new appreciation for this saga.

let us know if you get any skipping. pay attention to the scene directly after luke and ben in bens shack. other than that, the sound is amazing here. the pq is awesome! i was laughing out loud several times!

As much as I love the packaging of this I really do. It would also be nice if they came out with something similar packaging like Band Of Brothers/The Pacific in a tin and have the discs housed just like it with the artwork in the background. It would've looked cool.

*sigh* will have to take my Saga back some time within the next few days

not only did the digibook have all kinds of dings and marks on the cover (which really annoys me, but wouldn't warrant a return)

but there are small areas on the discs where the paint is missing, therefore so is the reflective coating in that area...

I've had enough CDs and DVDs go on me because of this, I don't want to take a chance with a $90 blu-ray set and start to notice skipping down the road.

The defects are with IV, V and Disc 9. Watched IV tonight, didn't notice a skip in the video, but I haven't listened to any of the commentaries, gone through all of the menus, etc... so who knows...

the discs shouldn't have these kinds of defects anyways...

am I nitpicking?

Same here I checked mine as well. I remember when LOTR EE came out and some people were missing the second movie.

The sharpness is gone from the Episode 2 transfer! Tonight my father and I were checking out the Bl-ray's, we jumped from Episode 1 to Episode 3 and then to Episode 2 and we were shocked at how blurry and the lack of sharpness in Episode 2!

Not nitpicking, you paid lots of money for it there shouldn't be that amount of defects on it. My copy from Target seems perfect.

The posters they were giving out at my walmart had Boba Fett on it, the artwork from the case. But I did see those two posters for sale there this morning.
