I know it's not Star Wars related, but for Alien it's H.R. Giger that create the Alien, Winston was for Aliens.

No problems here. Guys, can I ask all of you for a favor, or anyone that has the extra time at the moment or today. I noticed something and i dont know if its my OCD, or if its always been like that. In Revenge of the Sith, before Anakin and Obi Wan fight Dooku, the chancellor says, "Get help, you are not match for him. He is a sith lord". here is the video:

When he says, "get help, you're no match for him" it sounds like a distortion, almost like computerized. I don't know how to explain it. it's hard to here on the youtube video, but i've checked both of my copies and it sounds the same. Almost like a double voice. Just to ease my curiosity lol if any of you could check

It looks like they are the thicker cases unlike the slim Firefly case. But I can't quite tell.

Edit: Looks to be slim

I even think the addition of NOOOOOOO by Darth Vader at the end was a welcome addition, it makes the scene work much better, it makes the transition from the dark side to the light side much more Dramatic. I personally love what George Lucas has done with his Master piece! Now I still believe the Originals theatrical versions should have been included with this box set, not that I would have ever watched them. Just like I don't watch the theatrical versions of the Lord of the Rings any more, the extended versions being so much better. I watch my blu-rays on my 55 inch Samsung, LED, in company with my Marantz, Boston Acoustics, and Velodyne Home Theater... It's going to be a EPIC STAR WARS WEEKEND! Life is so Good! Thank you George Lucas!!!
It is fun that is for sure !!!

I know Mavrick said ROTS has alot of grain spikes and I'm experiencing it too, is anyone else? its probably intentional but it seems a little odd, unless they wanted to use it as a way to boost the sharpness.

Other than that, ROTS has a perfect transfer.

The first movie I put in was ROTJ, and it hard crashed the console...did a reset, worked fine after. All the movies played fine since. Go figure.

Yup, I experianced them, but don't atribute them to a player or disc error as I've noticed them in other films too.

Of course it could be an error in the transfer or even intentional.

Watched most of A New Hope and the speed bike chase scene on Return of the Jedi. Audio, fantastic, video, Return of the Jedi was awesome, A New Hope, really good also, way better than the DVDs.

Yeah I am aware of that. However, I don't think they were as magenta in color as they are in any of the releases that were done after the Lowry restoration and transfer. I believe the color timing issues with that transfer has led to them looking much more magenta than was initially intended.

After watching and enjoying most of this blu-ray set, I want to say I am ashamed for coming to this nerdy 1700+ page thread. What a bunch of whiners.

Nah, believe they've always been magenta. To me it seems right cause the red laser blasts would actually color the smoke somewhat magenta flying all around like that.

Of course, the magenta coloring is actually from the explosions...they contain magenta coloring in them...sorta like flares. You'll notice some of that when the blast door is first breached with an imperial explosion.

The guy decided to buy the Trilogies just so he could show us the difference between them and the Complete Saga... how nice

Has he even watched the bonus discs? Disc Nine is the most important one... seriously...

IMO Discs 7 & 8 are more "important" as they are chock full of unreleased content. Disc 9 collects a bunch of documentaries previously only on VHS, plus some new ones (I watched a bit of the 501st Doc... would really like to watch it all today).

Don't get me wrong, Disc 9 is awesome, but Discs 7 & 8 take the cake just because of the amount of new stuff on there.

360 degree prop/model turnarounds... AMAZING!

Possible change in RotS. When the Clone Troopers ambush Utapau after Obi Wan duels with Grievous, I don't recall ever hearing the clones shouting at each other as they do in the Blu Ray. I thought they dropped in silent. Is this a result of the lossless audio or did Lucas make the clones more audible during this moment?

Just checked this myself and I believe its a result of his accent coming out in the dialog. Thats my 2 cents anyay

I noticed that too!

A lot of "Hut, hut, hut!" Soldier talk that wasn't there before.

Nice addition IMHO.
