Once more (as we have stated it many times now), this is the Blu-ray Discussion Thread, there is one for discussing the actual movies in detail here.

If someone wanted to try and find some useful information about this release (not that there is much known), they would have one hell of a time finding something in this thread.

Is Lucas changing anything in the films for the Blu Ray release?

The only thing we're sure of so far... is replacing the crappy Yoda puppet from TPM with a CGI version.

Which is weird. Considering they made the puppet from a mold of the original. Heh.

Not sure what exactly happened there. But at least the CGI version from AotC and RotS is great.

They tried to make him look younger but somehow it looked weird. If I remember correctly, Rick Baker said that he looked like a frog. Not sure if it's related, but Nick Dudman, head of creature department for Episode I was never called back for the sequels.

Makes sense... it might have worked if they did the CGI in Ep2 and 3 more like it. 20 years in a swamp COULD reasonably alter his appearance to the Ep5 and 6 muppet... But it's definitely out of place now.

I love those Star Wars sets! Wow. Seeing that poster art brings me back to the VHS trilogy days. The original release, before the THX "Faces" set.

I also agree with having the other Empire poster for a cover. There's some great poster work out there for the original trilogy. The prequels.... not so much.

I agree, I hate the prequel poster art for the most part and I hate that GL changed the original art work into the photoshopped looking prequel art to match the weak trilogy. grrrr! lol
