My favorites which all happen within about a 15min time frame-

- "Maybe you'd like it back in your cell, your highness."

- "He's the brains, sweetheart!"

- "Look, I had everything under control until you led us down here!"

- "If we can avoid any more female advice, we ought to be able to get out of here."

I think the real question is, who will be the one to take the 40000th post I feel the lurkers waiting in the dark, just to make a useless comment and steal it;

Oh yeah. I'm sure it will.

It would have already gotten there if the mods didn't have to clip out fights so much.

He's probably a great dad. But because of this the rest of us have to suffer...
I can only imagine what will happen when his kids get a hold of these movies and are able to change things.

Unless you go to one of those specialized bars, The Jar Jar Drinks Bar. Quote Jar Jar there for pick-up lines. If you're lucky things will get weird....

If you get a rejected when you ask one of the Binks groupies if they'd like a drink. You can go all Han Solo on their prequel loving hides: "You could use a good DRINK!"

Or you can sulk away Jar Jar style "Messa going Home...."

Oh boy, I'm so glad the prequels turned out the way it did. If it had been a "Full Metal Jacket" without depth in space like you guys obviously would have prefered, the tables would be turned right now and I would probably hate these movies... I'm just lucky I guess because I trusted in Lucas and he delivered!

I think it will be up to his son to redeem his father and bring balance to the force.

Yes, because only extremes exist and it has to be an insanely violent, politically-charged head-trip Kubrick movie, or Muppets in Space With Lightsabres.

Lord of the Rings is a PG to PG-13 series that does an excellent job of being good for both kids and adults.

Hell, The Empire Strikes Back does a fine job of it, for that matter.

Still arguing about Jar Jar Binks?

Anyways, here is my gf's rating of the Saga (without any interference from me, I might add):

VFX Film PQ AQ
I 3.5 3.5 4.4 5+++++++++
II 3.8 3.8 4.5 5+++++++++
III 4.5 4.9 4.9 5
IV 3 4 4 4.8
V 3.7 4.8 4 5
VI 6.9 4.2 4 5

She watched the Saga from I-VI.

Her favorite characters are

1.Young Obi Wan
2. Han Solo
3. Luke Skywalker
4. Anakin when he turns to the dark side
5. R2-D2

Least favorite characters:

1. Shmi Skywalker
2. Chewie
3. Padme

Favorite scenes:

1. Obi Wan's speech after chopping Anakin's limbs
2. Anakin's confrontation with the younglings
3. Anakin is burning alive

She had never seen any of the movies before.
Needless to say, she didn't find anything to criticize about Vader's Nos, Obi Wan's scream, Blinking Ewok's and the like.

Did you watch it with anyone who had never seen them before, and what did they think of it?

That's not what anyone wanted. We wanted movies aimed at twelve year olds. Not 6 year olds. There is a big difference. What we are complaining about is lack of depth. You and the twelve other adults who like these movies are very lucky indeed. Have fun!

Or pretty much anything Pixar has ever made.
