I dont know if this has been covered but has Lucas added more debris in this scene??

Looks like a bit has been placed behind Ben and the silver part which looks really fake

That big light-coloured piece right up front? I believe that's always been there. And yes, I've always thought it looked something other than authentic as well.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't too sure after not seeing this for a while and the part right at the front does look really out of place

Have people really watched them multiple times already? My son and I just finished with ROTJ last night. Granted, when you've seen the films as many times as I have, they lose a bit of their dramatic urgency.

And, not to derail the good will of this discussion, but if they'd been the UOT, I'd likely have blasted through them in a day or two. The level of excitement would've been much greater, plus I wouldn't have been saddled with the feelings of disgust at having succumbed to buying the damned things. Carry on.

I have seen them twice already (each movie) and I am sure I can't be the only one

Weve watched them all exactly once. Im sure there are plenty more viewings on tap. We did them in chronological order first time around and will try them in release order this time.

Just watched Empire the other day, and a heap of the special features. Have not watched Jedi yet, but hope to this weekend!

That would be SW fans? No? Those of us who like the PT are just SW fans --- we like all 6 movies.

I can understand small children liking Jar-Jar, considering that they are the target demographic for the Prequels. However, if you're old enough to be on the Internet and still like him, then I can't help you.

Star Wars consists of 3 films: ANH, TESB, and ROTJ. No more, no less. From my perspective, anything made after that is just EU material created mostly to make money off of merchansing. The Prequels are poor imitations of the originals; merely a failed attempt to recapture lightning in a bottle and reap the financial benefits thereof. The franchise is lessened by their very existance, and it's quite perplexing why anyone would want to conflate the failure of the Prequels with the excellence of the original films and claim that somehow they're the same...

I haven't watched any of them once...yet.

I've been so busy with work I just haven't had the time. But I'm planning a marathon real soon, like in the next two weeks.

Watched some extras from ROTS - Kashyyyk/Order 66 last night. The animatics from the execution of Order 66 and the Yoda/Palpatine fight are great. Better than the finished product, IMO.

Among other things, we see more Jedi getting sliced down as Yoda grows sadder and sadder, but the battle on Kashyyyk was much more involved and had some great scenes that never got made. The existing battle, to me, feels too quick.

Interestingly, in the animatic fight, it's Palpatine who escapes Yoda -- not the other way around. Yoda fleeing has always bothered me.

Holy Lord, you've already watched the BDs a collective 22 times since they were released?

I miss having free time.
