I got my set at about 11 AM via UPS today, and it's very impressive. So far, I've only watched the first 2 films, but the video and audio beat the DVDs into a pulp. The new Yoda in "Phantom Menace" looks much better on my TV than in online clips, and I'm already looking forward to the extras, except for the spoofs (I don't like crude humor).

I hope you all don't mind, but I just wanted to post a picture of my complete saga. If I still had the original theater ticket stubs from all six films I would include them. Hopefully, the picture will come out, I've trouble uploading it. If not, I'm sorry.

Oh and **** all the prequel hate. They are solid films that complete the story. Watching them in proper order makes everything blend together so much better than watching it in the tradition Original Trilogy than Prequel trilogy that most fans do.

All 6 films =

Well the new Yoda looks awesome in Phantom Menace. Is there a complete full list of all the changes made to all the movies for Blu Ray?

I agree with this, I finally got done watching all 6 movies in order and it was a fantastic experience The video and audio were amazing and the total experience was fantasic. The Complete Saga was worth every penny and every minute of my time. I can't wait to pop em in again and experience them all over again. Cheers to all you guys out there who are enjoying this set as much as I am

This is my stance on it.

I think I'm going to go and finally pick this up today. Been putting it off for too long.

Ok, since I'm realtively new here and tried to make a post with a link in it, i guess it got caught by some sort of anti-spam filter and was deleted into the abyss since it's been 10 hours since I posted it yesterday and I don't see it anywhere...

But no worries, I'll just summarize it with no link this time.

First, a small news update: The 3D Phantom Menace trailer can be seen as early as October 21st, in front of the 3D release of The Three Musketeers.

Now a more major update, somewhat related,
[Show spoiler]It's Alive!!! Amidst most speculation, Darth Maul is now officially reported as "alive." He will return "This Spring." Since i can't seem to post a link, just google "usa today Darth Maul" for details and a pic as they were the first to get the scoop.

I know some consider Maul to be a boring, static character, but he only had about 3 lines and a few flips in the entire film...not much chance for character development if you ask me. I have always thought that Maul (along with Vader) were the most bada** and visually impressive Sith in the films. I would have liked to have seen more of Maul in the prequels, as the Duel of the Fates is IMO the best part of Phantom.

Apparently, in the TV show he will return for much longer than a "short-lived stunt" and will be meeting his brother and still holds a grudge against lil' Obi I hope the show will flesh his character out some more, giving him more substance as well as including some good ol' fashioned Jedi butt-kicking.

However, they have to provide a thorough and plausible explanation for his survival. If he just shows up and no explanation follows, I'll be very ticked. Also, if the show's creators screw this up, it will be a monumental fail. They need to do it right.

So, thoughts anyone? How did Maulie survive Obi's slice and dice? Is he now a rogue Sith/Dark Jedi/Thingie? What about the Rule of Two Sith at a time, does Sidious know Maul's alive? What about Dooku, does he feel threatened by Maul? Why da heck has Maul not shown himself or tried to "get revenge" before now, 12 years after his death? Did Sidious disown him for his failure or something? Discuss away...

Yep in the Clone Wars. USA today (and I'm sure many other sites by now) have more specific details. The episode should be aired by this Spring, you can watch it either on the Cartoon Network, Star Wars.com, or I guess you could wait for the Season 4 blu-ray release in 2012.

I had heard something about that at one point. I just wasn't sure if you were talking about Clone Wars or about another project coming out of nowhere

Lol, that would be fun: Star Wars Episode 1.5 - The Return of the Revenge of The Phantom Menace Strikes Back.

Wait, in all seriousness, I just though of something. Now, we all know Georgie loves tinkering with his toys (I actually like most of his changes, I just find it a little funny that he's still tinkering with them after all this time).
And with Phantom coming back in February, do you think he'll make any edits regarding Maul's got-chopped-in-half-and-fell-down-a-bottomless-pit scene...After all the article said, and I quote,

"'Star Wars' creator George Lucas wanted the Sith lord brought back in 'Cartoon Wars,' and now he's back."

So if this was George's brain child, will there be film edits??? After all the movie is in theaters a month or two before the episode(s) airs, was this all some part of an elaborate plan? Or just coincidence?

I would not be surprise if something like this was to happen for the 3D releases. I won't be seeing it for a while since I won't be going to see Star Wars in 3D but I sure would not be surprise if he were to do something like that
