Yeah. But that length has been reduced to 17.5km. The Eclipse is larger, but the Executor is longer.

Absotruthly. For all of the complaining about the HD origination, CG FX, the iffy performances etc etc, it's that GODDAMNED beard which annoys me the most. The beard appliance for the reshoots looks sooooo bad, and nothing like the actual beard which McGregor had. The same could be said for the wig on the reshot Obi-Wan in Ep 1, but that was only for a handful of shots. In Ep 2 it changes back and forth throughout the film, even from cut to cut within a scene, and it throws me off big time.

The poor lady who did Ewan's wig for Phantom Menace was highly praised, only problem was we could see his scalp his normal hair-cut was so short and it made that birds-nest look even worse (and it looked like half his scenes were re-shot). Rick McCallum should have followed Ewan around with a hair clippers after Phantom finished shooting in-case they needed extra scenes).

I've never really noticed his hair in Episode II, but I do watch it though my fingers covering my eyes....

Ewan's look in Episode II is mightily distracting. Not only does it look bad, but the sheer amount of reshoot material -- with multiple cuts between original shoot/reshoots in the same scene -- makes it stand out more.

Ewan's inconsistent beard, and hair has never bothered me. In fact, I have never even noticed it.

LOL. Me neither. Imagine, the most fundamental flaw in the prequels are Ewan's beard, that ruined everything.

That beard was digital, or should have been, or will be in the future.

Liam Neeson's facial hair looked different in a few scenes of "The Phantom Menace"; its probably just an oversight from the reshoots that took place for each entry.

Also, Anakin's lips don't match the dubbed dialogue in "Sith", when he's trying to convince Padme' that his evil actions have been for her welfare. You can also see Hayden's right hand in an early Mustafar shot, when he pulls up his hood on the way to the Federation's meeting room.

It's bad enough when you're from Tatooine, but now you're trailer trash from Tatooine.
I've never heard the stupid Padawan haircut compared to the "rat tail." Now I know why I hate it with a passion.

I know that these stats have a way of changing depending on who or what wrote what. Most of my original stats came from the Star Wars role planning game from the 80's (which did not really take hold if I recall) I never played the game but I had the sources books as it was more info on Star Wars (I can be such a nerd sometimes ) After the books started doing well in the early 90's more sources started coming out which were different and kept changing

Indeed. And I fully expect Lucas to digitally add Ewan's mole to Alec Guinness's forehead for the next release.

I am just looking forward to Adywan's Empire Strikes Back - Revisted.

Makes Lucas' effort a joke IMHO.

It is kinda sad that they didn't even make Ian look like the older Emperor, when they shot the new hologram scene. Still, it works.

Did you see his edit of ANH? It was very well done. Kinda blown away that it was done by one guy... that does say a lot about Lucasfilm. Adywan has a good eye for what changes improved the film and which ones harmed it. He also made a few tweaks himself that really improved the films without distracting the viewer. A perfect example of what Lucas should have done. The only bad part of his edit was putting the theme for the Anakin/Ben fight in RotS into ANH, but I seem to remember him regretting that (not sure if it's been changed). As far as my opinion goes, I prefer the unaltered versions but if you want an "enhanced" Star Wars, go for Adywan's edits.

My favorite change that he made was Luke crying out "BIGGS!" (taken from the BBC Radio Drama) after he died. It was perfectly edited in.

Thats the one that knocked my socks off and left my jaw on the floor.

I dont get the love for these movies. 100% guarantee fans would hate these changes if GL chose to put them in the BDs.

Isn't there already 2000 pages of comments on hating changes GL put on BD? How would these be any different?
