I loved the Tron castle too! I think they did a custom one for Pirates 4, with the flags on the castle being the pirate skull & bones flags. I really hope they do a custom Star Wars castle.

im psyched for this. bring on more star wars movies. but a fresh start please. hopefully theyll get the rights to a good trilogy of novels.

See Threepio and Artoo Detoo appeared on Disney Channel's ANT Farm and it has a very hilarious See Threepio getting down with some Urban Slang. These are the real deal robotic outfits made for the Star Wars films. Give it a look see, I laughed my arse off.

That's pretty remarkable.

And sure, in an alternate timeline the Disney or Universal or Warner fanfare could have been the first cut on Star Wars soundtracks but two points...

Those other fanfares might have made the soundtracks but they might not have. There is a synergy between the Fox fanfare and the opening notes of the Williams fanfare that might not have existed with other studio logos.

We don't live in that timeline...we live in this one. For whatever reasons, the associations between these particular films and this particular fanfare are awfully strong and hoping they remain intact seems pretty reasonable.

I am honestly thinking of getting a second set of "The Complete Star Wars Saga", if it goes on sale at some point, as it's fantastically beautiful, and I want make sure I have a pristine set as a spare.

Besides the hoarding aspect you might as well wait. I was reading on originaltrilogy.com that an UOT blu-ray set is planned.

So getting the versions that you don't already have on Blu-Ray is something that you couldn't care less about, but spending about $80 to $100 to get a duplicate of the exact set that you already have is something that you are strongly considering. Gotcha!

Do you have a link to this? And was there a more official source or was this just speculation on the part of whoever posted it? Don't get me wrong, I hope that it's true, but if an official statement was made, I would think that it would be bigger news by now.
