However, no one else has the right to change another person's creation!

Now I am like many fans so looking foward to hearing all 6 star wars films on blu-ray in DTS HD Master Audio or Dolby True HD what ever which format GL decides to do. I like the audio on the dvd no doubt but the quality of either DTS HD Master Audio or Dolby True HD is going to be so much better. As long as the sound errors that where on the Episode 4 DVD are fixed and corrected I will be fine with that. Anyways excited to hear all 6 star wars films on blu-ray in fall of 2011 next year.

The sound of Jango Fett's Seismic Charges in the Astroid Field around Geonosis should truly be amazing.

Its still easily the most amazing and important film saga ever created and probably never will be topped. Once these are out on blu-ray, my life is 100% complete.

Can't wait for fall 2011.
Is it available online somewhere??

I'd love a BD about ILM!!!! That'd be killer!!!

Prior to BD that was one of my goto scenes when I wanted to show off my system.

It's also just a fun chase.

Yeah, it was shockingly amazing even on DVD. I can only imagine how it'll sound on Blu-Ray.

And yeah, the whole chase is just awesome sauce. Man, I hate how long we have to wait.

What makes it stand out is that the scene is actually quiet, no music in the background, and when the charges itself first explode there was TOTAL SILENT, and than suddenly BANG! The seismic charges sound ranges from very deep low to high pitch at the same time, while spreading out from your center to all other channels. I see it as a badass version of THX's legendary Deep Note crescendo.

Speaking of- shockingly amazing even on DVD.

Does anybody here have to turn their volume down a little when the Falcon enters sublight speed during it's arrival in the Alderaan system?

During that scene, my woofer emits a very loud 'WHUMP! WHUMP! WHUMP!'

Now their is one little complant I have with the audio from the 2004 dvd mix of the classic trilogy and that is A New Hope. That sound mix I don't know what happened I don't know if it's bad authoring on the dvd or whatnot but the sound mix is bad filped surround stereo in the back messed up sound of effects etc but I hope these sound issues are addressed for the Episode 4 A New Hope when the film is released along with the other star wars films on blu-ray in the fall of next year 2011.

can i say something here?

Besides most of Jar Jar Binks and a couple of Anakins lines, Episode 1 IMO is Underrated. Let me go hide now.

Speaking of the audio from the OTs, this info was from a post back on 09-09-10 that some of you might have missed.

And still waiting for more information regarding it.

STAR WARS BLU-RAY AUDIO NEWS

By Vic Barry on Monday, September 06, 2010

Ahead of Invasion Cork (tickets up for grabs all week long) I got to catch up with Academy award nominee (and incredibly nice guy) Matthew Wood from Lucasfilm / Skywalker Sound. You can grab the full interview on iTunes or direct download it on the right of the screen. Regarding the Star Wars Blu-Ray release next year, Matthew told me that in 2004 he had to remix Episode IV for a 5.1 mix, and the whole thing had to be recreated from scratch from the original 1977 version of the movie. This will be the version that is the basis for the Blu-Ray by all accounts. There’s plenty more in the interview including the future of audio in the cinema, has it peaked or is there more to come as well as plenty of other Star Wars goodness and a little bit of an insight into Skywalker Ranch!

I think it's the best of the Star Wars films myself. So trust me, you are not alone.

And I happen to like Jar Jar as a character. I appreciate his character arc and the fact he was the underdog.

And yet, without his impact on the story.... the Jedi would have failed in their mission. Among other things.

Then none of the films would have happened. His impact is vital for everything to occur.
