As long as we also get the 2D versions this fall I don't care, ut if not, I would personally have some serious whopping to do!!!

Let's all hold hands and pray that it's details about the upcoming BD release!!!

SO hoping that the Panasonic thing is solely for the 3D versions.... which I don't care about at all.

Pretty much agree. As long as the 2D versions are released this year, I really couldn't give a shit about 3D.

I love the group hug smiley, so cute.

Default Star Wars - "Most Impressive" - Announcement CES 2011

http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/04/s...cement-at-ces/

Consumer Electronic Show is nearly upon us, as was the Death Star before it.

The emperor is personally arriving himself, to oversee the final plans for the Blu-ray editions. Double your efforts on your wallets, as if you don't buy this, you'll find that the emperor himself, is not as forgiving as I am.

"and Panasonic"?

Please give us a full bitrate 2D version and not a hokey fake 3d version at half the datarate.

It worries me that Panasonic is involved with an announcement....

Please don't be a pack-in exclusive or some crap like that. If it's for the 3D versions, fine, but just give me the dang saga on Blu-ray already.

I doubt that. Lucas still has to appease Fox. I'm sure we'll get a regular release Blu-Ray set.

Put Panasonic is probably part of it to debut a sneak peek of the upcoming 3D conversion of the films.

if it's some kind of exclusive deal, then count me out, there's no way I'm buying another player, tv or home theater....

I would like to get star wars and the x-files has that is the classic in blu ray does anyone here know when they are going to bring it out.

Well star wars you got Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope ,Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back ,Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi ,Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace ,Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones ,Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith ,Star Wars: The Clone Wars so how hard would it be to bring this out in blu ray?

It was already announced for an October release of this year if I'm not mistaken. Here's the website:https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=4996
