There's also some bad dialogue. And there's bad acting. And there's bad direction. Look, I get you don't like it. It's cool.

Just funny that you mentioned that scene - although I actually enjoy much of AOTC (I don't think it's nearly as bad as some folks do) it is what stands out to me most as really terrible CGI, so much so that I am shocked it was included.
Agreed, the Jango/Obi chase in the planet's rings/asteroids and the Star Destroyers taking off at the end of the movie in particular looked really poor although there were other bad scenes like that too.

No, the beginning of the scene is a shot/zoom of the meadow and the waterfalls behind them. They talk about politicians. Then they run around the meadow and Anakin rides the cow, pretends to get injured. She runs up to him, they roll and look like they're about to kiss. Then it goes to Kamino.

I agree with you on this. Both scenes, and many others in the movie, are still reference material.

There is at least one case of Mayhew having actual dialogue on set for the other actors' benefit, as revealed in the Empire of Dreams doc.

Episode 3 is pretty bad too.

Anakin yells what have I done, then he looks like he has indigestion asking Palpatine to save Padme because he can't live without her.

One second he's yelling in horror at what he's done and the next he looks like he has acid reflux. Right then and there I'm taken right out of the film just for that unrealistic response.

Pfft, the Star Destroyer bit looks great to me. I love how disappointed Jimmy Smits looks in that scene, the way that he taps the balcony rail in frustration as Palpatine's new army takes flight.

I'm pretty sure that if you helped kill a friend and mentor, you'd be feeling pretty sick too.
Also, he realizes/feels that he can never go back to the Jedi after what happened and is now forced to stay with Sidious.

Well, obviously some of us do. I love Sith pretty unreservedly. I'll take the first two to get to that one, for sure.

The guy I quoted said he saw the "sick" in Anakin, I explained to him why it was there.

I always felt that the Emperor had some hold on him in Sith. When he kills Dooku he is contemplating what to do and then Palpatine says "do it" and he does and then seems a bit shocked. Same with Mace Windu, Palpatine kind of makes him do it. Same thing as with Windu is that he is shocked with himself afterwards. Kind of like Palpatine is infecting him with the darkside.

Not really, it is me trying to rationalize the entire thing being poorly written and executed. Anakin turns so quickly and easily to the Dark Side that Palpatine probably could have done it during The Phantom Menace with ice cream.
