It will be for sure by the time it comes out in 10/18/2011.

No, you're right. Blade Runner had MORE cuts. There's no reason to think that the price would skyrocket by including both versions of each OT film.

It would, since the original cuts would require massive work to make them ready for Blu-Ray release.

If we follow the history of release from Lucas, I don't think it would be a crazy price. Granted we might get a ULTIMATE GIANT BOX of some type, a collector item if you want but I am sure some sort of regular release will probably be available as well.

So it appears that 1-3 and 4-6 will also get separate sets.... interesting. I figured there would just be one big set for now.

I really hope he doesn't separate the trilogies with this release. Honestly, it's one now. We've never had the Saga be released as one. Release it as one and don't separate them any longer. It's time.
