Dude barely talks.
Looks like he shops at Wal*Mart/K*Mart and has one of the ugliest ships ever!

To top it all off.... He finally uses his jetpack and dies because of a tiny scratch on it!
Dude is nothing but a punk-@$$-b*tch... Thankfully he's dead and swallowed.
I never understood the Boba Fett hate. Some people don't like him just because some people do. I like Boba Fett because he looks cool.

Agreed. I was five-years-old in 1977 and it was such a HUGE cultural phenomenon.

In addition, it seemed like for kid (boys at least), Star Wars figures and action sets were the favorite toys. I think I went through two of these Death Stars. lol

Here is some more good nostalgia for anyone growing up during those times.

I have finally picked up the SW collection on blu-ray. I kept telling myself I would not do it. $90 was a little much for me. I sold my DVD for $15 and had $65 worth of change I wrapped up from collecting from the last few months. I only ended up paying $11 out of pocket.

Nice, I just recently got the Saga for 30 bucks mint from my local pawn shop. I bought the original trilogy on blu first because I'm not the biggest fan of the prequels. But, for 30 bucks, I couldn't pass it up. I've reached the prequels recently and not as horrible as I remember.

Cheeky posts aside, LOL, I think the folks that wonder what the big deal is about Boba are likely more about the films themselves then the overall Star Wars mythology/EU. If you just go by the films, Boba is basically a step up from a background character, particularly in RotJ where he's almost only there for a brief moment of comic relief. We just mostly see him walking around glowering a few times, nothing heroic or even really that cool aside from being the delivery boy in ESB, LOL.

Now, I get why he's so "cool" - he has an entirely different life in the EU. And, to be honest, I think he's one of the few characters that benefited from the Prequels adding to his story. But I do see why those that have a film focus just might not see it.

Actually he was cool right up until Lucas made him die in an undignified way. He was a bad a** in Empire and in Jedi in Jabba's Palace with the Nod and showing how quick he was with the rifle. Jabba's palace scene and Luke/Vader fight at the end was all there was to Jedi. Oh and the speeder bikes were cool but that film was by far the lesser of the original three. Looking back I wish he had done a better job with Jedi and not gone off on the "kiddie" route to sell more toys.

An artist that I've been a fan of, Tim Doyle, is releasing a "Mystery Tube" with 5 different prints included. Some are just random test prints, and such, but this Star Wars: The Force Awakens print will be included with every tube.

Looks pretty cool, and a little different from the usual lithos you see as far as colors go (there's also a variant, see blog link below). Additionally there's a chance of getting a Tyler Stout Empire Strikes Back Mondo print, or a sweet GotG print. The tubes go on sale tomorrow at 2PM central.

No worries boss, I know what you meant. Was just reacting to the (slight) positivity towards the prequels.

I've heard the original trilogy is plagued with telecine wobble... especially Empire. Is it true?

The prequel trilogy will always have a special place with me. Episode I came out when I was 7. I will say though, Episode I had what is probably my favorite soundtrack of the saga (Duel of the Fates, come on you can't go wrong there) and my favorite Sith so far (Maul. The stuntman who played him is a badass). The Battle of Geonosis in Episode II was always in my top three battles and the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan in Episode III was one of my favorite lightsaber duels.

There are definitely some great moments in the prequels, I think.

Ah, so this is what you're going to worry about now that your concerns regarding Beyond Thunderdome have been laid to rest.

Episode lll out of the prequels is my favorite and the best of the 3 IMO, but I don't absolutely hate the first 2. There's qualities about both that I enjoy.

I don't recall seeing telecine wobble and that usually stands out and bothers me pretty bad. Now, I'm going to have to give them a watch just to look for it.
