I trust StarWars.com more than i trust some fan-run website. They obviously are mistaken. The facts prove otherwise.

There has absolutely no mention of the digital copies. Since Disney just released the digital versions, i doubt these will have them.

That would be the only way I'd consider picking these up, and that would only be for the original trilogy.

Digital distribution is shared by Fox and Disney: Fox distributes Episode IV which is UV; while Disney, through Lucasfilm, handles the rest and these are DMA.

The physical home video repromotion is from Fox and Lucasfilm so digital copies would be difficult without more agreements being made between the three parties.

Though you think IV would contain a UV digital copy code for the individual release at least. :/

No point in having just the one DC for that film though is there?

This was my understanding as well. If this is the case I will get the steelbooks and keep the complete saga for the extras. I am still also hanging onto the 2004 DVD set for the Empire of Dreams documentary. Then if the OUT trilogy ever gets released I will put those discs in the IV, V, VI steelbooks.

I can see it. I thought the same thing, but then it made sense that it wouldn't be so.

Default Darth Vader STILL yells "NOOO", like an idiot.

I didn't think it would happen, but yes it did. George Lucas has found another way to take a dump on his fans. To be fair, the only changes i really hated about the Blu-ray release of the original trilogy was on "RETURN OF THE JEDI", where Darth yells out "NOOOO" as he throws the emperor down the shaft and seeing Hayden Christensen as the ghost of Anakin Skywalker at the end of the film. Those are the only 2 horrible changes that make me not want to watch "RETURN OF THE JEDI" ever again.
Now comes a new releases. Will those changes still remain? Of course they will. The only thing that is different will be the stupid cases.

It's just Fox repackaging them. They do it all the time.

Thank goodness I love both those changes. I wouldnt have bought them in the OU form. They got 6 steelbooks and the saga pack sold here.

Thanks for pointing that out! I wish they were the front, but still cool nonetheless. Now I'm tempted to pick up the original trilogy.

You can't blame Lucas for these though, he isn't in charge anymore. Disney call the shots now, and they're the ones who have decided to re-release the '11 versions. Whether or not the UOT will come (which is I'm convinced they will, the question is just when) is entirely up to them.

Hayden was added in the 2004 DVD release.
