So I'm correct in assuming that you have to get the Complete Saga to get hold of the vast majority of the special features available? Hmm. Well, I have 9 months to decide which one to get, I suppose. I don't care hugely for the prequel trilogy but it might be nice to have them all in one set.

Looking forward to the final artwork to be released. The currently released artwork is quite nice in its simplicity, but I don't like how it has the Blu-ray logo right under the title.

It really is amazing.

Even on a per good movie basis $22.50 each is pretty damn reasonable

(and it beats the hell out of Alien Anthology's $45 per good movie release price)

That 30 hours of exclusive content portion of the press release has to contain the commentaries right?

I mean, that's 13 hours of commentaries. That still leaves 17 hours left of what...unless they're including watching the films as "exclusive bonus content"....

The running time of extras does tend to include the commentaries, yeah.

I'm sure Star Wars: Empire of Dreams will be included also. That's 2 1/2 hours more.

I'm hoping that they include the excellent Star Wars tech program from the History Channel also.

You know, somebody a while back predicted the inevitable party-pooper who will complain about something, well here's mine

And no, it's not that there is no original versions. Anybody who was really hoping for that was being foolish.

however, according to that trailer... THEY DIDN"T FIX THE DAMN COLORS!!! DARTH VADER STILL HAS A WEIRD PASTEL LIGHTSABER!! ARRGGGHHH!!!!.

Okay, that's all. I probably would've picked up the OT set if they had fixed the color-timing, even with the '04 versions, but now I think I'm good. Everyone else enjoy the set.

Is it possible that the original cuts are included?

Surprised by the price. Certainly did not expect this to be under 100 bucks.

any chance this $90 initial price for the 9 disc goes up between now and release day. That's a pretty solid price....and amazon doesn't have to keep it that low...but just keep it that low for those of you who can afford to preorder right now.

This will be interesting to see from a pricing standpoint i think.

Pre-ordered I was expecting to pay over $100 for the set, so $90 is a bargain! Is it too early to say that this is going to be the BD release of the year (especially at the price point?)

Three discs of extras. Hmmmm.. Maybe it is just wishful thinking, but I can think of a perfect trilogy of 'extras' for those

Of the 17hours let's hope that approx ~6-7hours is the "classics", with about 10hours or so dedicated to documentaries, deleted scenes etc.

Sounds (quite) realistic.
