I bought it used. That way my $$ doesn't go directly to Lucasfilm. And it still hasn't been watched, unfortunately. It was completely just for the bonus features.

Yeah they're relatively surfacial, but as far as at least touching on other parts of the movie, they do that much.

Anyway, I like hanging onto my Star Wars purchases, so I don't care that the BDs aren't complete in and of themselves. Only things I ever got rid of were the individual 4-6 DVDs that came in the silver box, because those same discs came with the LE DVDs anyway. I still kept the actual box, and of course Empire of Dreams. So I've got everything that was released on DVD for 1-6, I think. I know I don't have the tape of "From Star Wars to Jedi," and I've still never seen the Holiday Special. Also don't have any Laserdiscs and I dunno if those ever had any exclusive documentaries that never made it to other releases.

Gripes and nitpicks and mistakes aside, I still love these movies above all others, warts and all.
Actually, we have seen Anakin in traditional Jedi garb.

I thought From Puppets to Pixels and Within a Minute were great documentaries. They're above and beyond the bonus features we get on most releases today.

I completely forgot I have that Revenge of the Sith Soundtrack bonus DVD hosted by Ian McDiarmid. Thanks! Going to go dig that out and give it a spin.

He's thinking about sand, and whether spinning really is a good trick.

I saw the same thing writ large with the Star Wars in Concert they did a few years ago at London's O2 arena, the videos they played on the screen were basically the same as on that disc only with a live orchestra (the Royal Philharmonic) playing the music and Tony Daniels hosting it. 'Twas awesome.

Yeah, he was the key to figuring out how to do 100% CGI characters. But hey, just another edited video by RLM to uneducate the masses.
