I prefer to go in knowing as little as possible.
That's probably why I enjoyed Iron Man 2 and 3 and nearly every marvel Movie more than most. I wasn't spoiled by anything.
Everything was new.

Where is the full stream? I can't find it.

re: the Original Trilogy panel

Kennedy said, "We sat around thinking what could we possibly do to celebrate 40 years of Star Wars. How can we do justice to you fans and to make this the best Celebration ever?"

I've gotta say this feels more like a 37th anniversary.

- Not that I could have done any better but my goodness that separate interview with Lucas on the left and Ford on the right was awkward as heck.

Yeah I know, stupid with a capital S, saw that Game Console thing after the fact as well. I wish I could say I was drinking when I ordered that but I wasn't. All I can say is I had the Blu-Flu and it impacted my judgement. Amazed no one called him out on it in their feedback. I was the only one who mentioned the item not as described thing. Unless I was one of the few he sent a legit copy to. I emailed him about an hour after auction closed and stated that I did not want a burned copy and to refund me now if it was, and then a follow a few up emails. Don't know, maybe I scared him off. He ended auction not long after our exchange and hasn't had another, at least under that username.

Also to bring things back to the topic at hand, if you see this in an Ebay Auction, it's a boot, notice how much space appears above Vader's head, that's the first thing wrong with it, size of case is larger as well although not quite as obvious ...

I bought my Vader set at Best Buy and I have blue discs. What's he mean they're supposed to have pictures on them?

Did she really say that? It goes to show she and the rest of these Lucasfilm/Disney executives are out of touch with what the fans want.

Yeah, she did. She gave about a 3 minute thank you for your money speech.

I haven't watched any of the presentations yet but really, everybody on that freaking stage should be thanking us for their houses and their cars and the planes they keep crashing

I think the interview with Lucas stunk. He has said the same crap over and over ever since he decided to due the special editions a little over 20 years ago.

Exactly. They shouldn't say, "Hey, the fans are the best part." They should be saying, "I'm filthy stinking rich because of the fans." The only one up there that I felt was truly humble was Peter Mayhew. You notice he got out of Hollywood outside of Chewbecca after ROTJ.

I mean if you think about it Ford was the only one on that entire stage that didn't make his millions solely off Star Wars.

Even Bluray.com database pictures still show those discs with art work on at least one of the set.

The US original Anakin set had generic light blue artwork with no pictures.
The Us Vader Set I think had the same generic disc

The DVD sets had discs with Picture

The UK sets had discs with pictures
Mine has the generic blue/silver discs with a black booklet, in a blue 9 disc Viva Elite case (which has a broken tab on the bottom and snapped anti-theft lip, damn Best Buy), and the cover art is double sided. Bought this Christmas.

Yeah, but at the same time the people who go to Celebration are hardcore, man. They're there to lap up whatever SW goodness they can get and they're not gonna b*tch and moan about the lack of the UOT or indeed the lack of any kind of meaningful announcement related to the first film.

In a roundabout way I think bringing Uncle George back in from the cold means that the UOT is off the agenda for a good long while. Kathy Kennedy is more than a colleague to him, she's also a friend and as long as she's steering the good ship Lucasfilm I think she'll respect his wishes. As captveg said, Disney have apparently been scanning every scrap of film in the LFL archives so that one day those assets can be eploit...uh, explored but for now any restoration we're gonna get is gonna be the SE version - though even the chance of getting that released seems to be lessening by the day!

I was thinking we would at least see the SE of A New Hope for a theatrical/IMAX run then BD later in year.
