That is as foolish as saying the fall of the Roman Empire was meaningless. So a title is given as "World War I" ... the "world" was fighting long before that.

Without "meaning" states that there isn't concept or action. Yes there was, they just aren't what people wanted to happen at the time, but just like Anakin causing all the slaughter and issues, he did bring balance back to the force....by unbalancing it and having an offspring to fix it all....or did he.

Because those were well written.
They detailed the rise of Thrawn.
They did everything right.

We were given enough info in the crawl for the setting of the universe.
Then more was talked about in the mivue.
Awakens gave us nothing. Either in the crawl or in the movie to let us know what happened in the 30/40 years between the two films.

I'm pretty sure all those questions will be answered in the next two films. As for why Han and Leia split, I thought they said something about how losing their son to the dark side drove them apart.

Would you have asked these questions like this when the first movie came out, of course not.

You are expecting what you have seen before instead of appreciating a story unfolding.

Although I am thinking you were asleep through at least part of the movie. Not trying to be mean, but there were some keen details between Leia and Han.

Btw, do you see the irony with the WWar discussion? How was there still a more powerful German army when over 50% of total deaths were exactly that?

WWI meaningless....hmmm maybe you should look no further than The Force Awakens to see what horrors await. Sometimes superpower nations rise right out of the ashes of the defeated.
