Bliss!

I'm pretty sure that member won't be actually adding any useful release information any time soon, and in the rare event they do, it's not worth the page upon page of inane arguments. And this is coming from someone that likes to defend a point, but FFS, that person puts me to shame! It's like arguing just for the very sake of arguing then being oblivious to it all.

Yes I like all the SW films, and I would love the UOT on BD asap, but have realized that ranting and raving...on either side...only accomplishes one thing: furthering a dumb argument.
I did that weeks ago.

When George dies, we get the OT and proper prequels that match up to the OT.

All we need is the UOT. Everything we need to know prior to the original Star Wars is basically told to Luke by Obi Wan while they are sitting in his hut after the sand people attack.Plus a bit more in Jedi. We just need the UOT to erase Hayden Ghost and the stupid celebration at the end of Jedi that shows all of the Prequel planets.

Even if that does happen, the previous versions of the PT will still exist. They're here to stay whether you like them or not.

I want Vader's "No. No!" gone in ROTJ as well. To me that's the worst change of 2011.

Well, it's not the GOUT unless it's unaltered. You don't really get to pick and choose what stays and what goes. Personally, though, I really love the piece that Williams composed for the end of Jedi. I wish the film version had been included on the soundtrack.

Ya know what, "F" it...
Remake all the movies! Start with the terrible, horrible ones called the Original Trilogy!
Rework the script to make it fit better with the Prequels!

In fact, make TWO versions of Return of the Jedi!
Make the other one how Gary Kurtz would have done it.

You prequel bashers are seriously the worst damned people I've ever come across!

I agree. It sure isn't about serious discussion.

I'm going to derail this thread and say,

Some people are convinced A New Hope was already remade.

So we only need Empire and Jedi to remake the original trilogy.

And then eventually we'll get the remade prequels.

I've never seen that before.
But having just binged the first 5 episodes of the new Twin Peaks, I'm not quite sure I will ever be the same again!

If Lynch directed Jedi we would find out that Luke and Leia are the same person instead of twins.

Isn't that what they're doing with the Sequel Trilogy?
