The ban I spoke of was not a ban from bluray.com, it was a ban out of this thread and to that place.

The issue isn't saying you like the Theatrical editions. It isn't even saying you like them better.

It is **** !%$@!##!!! You are on ignore...wah wah wah wah...Lucas sucks, screw him...he is a sh*tty director, you stupid apologist...he is on ignore...everybody get him on ignore....so glad I ignored...oh wait, I gotta post again...Hayden sucks...no Lucas sucks....wait someone showed blue screen on the OT..>#!%!@#$ YOU!!!!! You are on ignore...you are spam...

I can see why Jake, Haydn, and Lucas are just a little annoyed at how psycho fans have treated them.

Start the other thread. I dare ya. Get them outta here!

If they truly hate the prequels that much, why would they want to post here if there is an alternative? Why not spend time bashing in a designated spot instead of coming on the COMPLETE SAGA BLURAY board???

Remember, the other subject has to be Original Unaltered Trilogy and the current movies starting with The Force Awakens.

Any further Prequel hating, or Lucas hating or Prequel actor hating goes there. Leave that talk out of here. This is a board for positive talking about Star Wars. And when I say Star Wars, I say Lucas vision (which can be congruent with the current vision because that is the COMPLETE SAGA). Nothing about bootlegs (and we know the titles), and nothing about posters altering the official work.

You talk that crap...go to that other place.

Discussing why Lucas did this or that...ok, but you talk crap and say how stupid and wrong....back to that other board. Wanna talk crap on ElvisForever...go back to that other place. I actually give full permission for this. As long as no personal information is stated about me, you can rip on anything I say, just let it loose. As long as it is IN THAT PLACE. Although if you were truly man enough, you would stick to only talk that happens IN THAT PLACE and leave the Complete Saga talk out of it.

Does anyone want to seriously solve the problem? I take the challenge that things would be a whole lot better, but will anyone actually believe me? Does anyone have the guts to try to prove me wrong?

Yeah like you get to decide which is the good thread and the bad thread. This thread is for all talk of everything in regards to the BD set and the films within, good or bad. Deal with it. People bashing Lucas bothers you?? Ignore them. People bashing the Prequels bothers you?? Ignore them. People bashing the Special Editions bothers you?? Ignore them. I've actually been ignoring much of this discussion the last few days because most of the talk is the same anyways. When I see something worth jumping into I will but lately I haven't seen that here.

Also Mr. Forever, to my credit, I have not put you on ignore despite the times you've annoyed me because I'm not gonna handle this the grade school way. In the end I know you're just trying to add to the discussion. You may not always do it in the best way, then again the same could be said for a lot of people here, but I know you try.

First of all Chris, thanks for the civilized reply.

As for "ignoring", it is impossible. They destroy any kind of discussion, and they know they are doing it. Then when the cleanup happens, good posts go with it. And no, not just mine.

I am not deciding anything.

Let me give you an example. The Karate Kid back on the IMDB boards was a total disaster. Any time anyone tried to speak positively about the Karate Kid, Cobra Kai lovers would jump all over people. It was very similar to the Haydn/Lucas/Prequel bashing here.

Why is it so important to keep Lucas bashing in a thread where I know people want to talk about Star Wars and simply can't? Look how many people have actually tried to talk constructively and are just bashed repeatedly for it?

This isn't about "me" deciding, this is about people that are actively sabotaging any talk about what George Lucas wanted so they can get their own agenda out.

Why keep people that hate the prequels so much in the same place?

While I am a target and I have so many proclaiming I am on ignore (but alas keep responding to me...), why not just go a step further where I can be ignored entirely?

Ask yourself one question. When was the last time that the actual blurays were even seriously talked about at all? Why should people that care about the physical media have to constantly "ignore" this sabotage crap?

Are people really afraid that this may solve a problem? When the prequel hate happens, say...go over there. If someone goes to the UOT to preach special edition or prequel love..they are told to go back here? Why is this so bad???

And that I appreciate. I will drop this now (unless others pipe in...even not so constructively), but I think it is a good idea.

I mean c'mon, if this about anything and everything, why are releases treated differently (like other blurays listed separately elsewhere...is Sarah Conner listed as if it is the same as Terminator 2??)? I think people are actually confused by the idea of what "Complete Saga" actually means. It is a specific bluray release!!!! Not the entire damn Star Wars saga including the theatrical editions. Matter of fact, the talk of the bootlegs is actually against the rules and the purpose of this very thread.

I have never actually done it, but wouldn't it actually be fair to hit the complaint button if the UOT is even mentioned? Again, this is the Complete Saga board which means ONLY THE BLURAY SPECIAL EDITIONS.

I know where you're coming from. Unfortunately we live in a world where opinions will deviate drastically and not always with satisfying results. Sometimes it gets passed on and we can talk about something else or the same subject just gets drilled and drilled into the ground where you practically have to step away until it dies down or step up to bat so to speak. In the end there isn't always a winner because the subject doesn't always have a mutual deciding factor(s).

Lets put it another way. If I go on T2 and talk about Sarah Conner Chronicles, that is considered off topic especially if I drag it out into something completely different.

Why is the bootleg Star Wars discussion not considered the same thing? Why are the UOT considered something else entirely?

Would you seriously object if those kind of post/members were actually removed and put in the correct place in an official thread?

Most of the was rhetorical, because I know it isn't going to happen. Again, it would absolutely solve a lot of problems. Maybe I will try reporting it anyway.

Hell, I would even take prequel hate as long as UOT was not mentioned...if it is...off topic, and go away!

That would get those haters shut up pretty quick.

Well sadly the UOT talk isn't going to end because they're not in the current sets, so in a way it does tie in with the subject of the BD sets. Does a lot of it get blown out of proportion?? Of course.

I don't know. If some start pressing that complaint tab, the UOT is actually off topic.

Blown out of proportion is an understatement.

Glad we talked criss. I have no beef with you...today. Just kidding...

I think I'd happily label THX-1138 a science-fiction classic. The sound design and wonderful cinematography elevate it to another level.

Really good film but I don't think masterpiece is a word that you can attribute to it.

THX-1138 is a masterpiece...in its theatrical presentation. The directors cut is a crime against cinema.
