If the emperor could see possible futures, could he just not see the outcome of the battle at endor, or did it just seem so remote that he didn't give a care?

Perhaps it was a flip side of what was happening in the prequel trilogy; maybe the light side of the force was clouding his ability to see such an outcome.

Interesting theory. I think it was simply (as Luke observed) overconfidence, and like Tarkin before him, wouldn't or couldn't accept that it was even remotely possible.

I want to order the complete saga on blu ray and I noticed that a lot of sellers on eBay are selling it for really cheap (around $35). Is there any way to tell if it is a bootleg or legit copy before I order it?

The sellers could be discounting it because you are having to take the Prequels too. But most likely a bootleg.

LOL! Ya I thought about just getting the original trilogy on blu but I really want to get that bonus material. I most likely won't even watch the prequels

I bought the complete saga on Amazon from a seller for about 40 dollars. I can say the one I ordered was NOT a bootleg. I'd say see if there are pics of the set.

If I can find a legit copy for 40 bucks I will jump on it. Here is an ebay listing I came across with a couple pics. Is this how the set is supposed to look? http://m.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-The-...ATCHING_ACTIVE

Looks like a bootleg; I understand the official blu-ray sets crop the top of Vader's helmet. The extra headroom on view here is a bad sign...

Every time I watch this release, I get annoyed about something I've not noticed before... During the final celebration scene in ROTJ, just before it transitions to Naboo, there's a glitch at the bottom of the screen - you can basically see the base of the tower with the Gungans on it before the Tatooine scene transitions, albeit only a 1 pixel line.

How did it ever get released in this state? What's infuriating about Star Wars is that you then have to wait another 10-odd years for a slightly better version, that fixes some issues and creates others.

You didn't watch the DVDs, did you?
They were just as bad.

I wonder if they release a 4K version of the Special Editions if they will get Luke's lightsaber blue instead of green when he is training on the Falcon? Or will they turn it orange and wait for the 10K version to correct it? I mean I get why they didn't correct it for the BD release, Ewoks need to blink and there had to be magic rocks added.

So, I own the 2011 version of the Complete Saga and I'm watching through all 8 Star Wars movies in order to get ready for Episode VIII this December. I just finished the Prequel trilogy and the visuals and audio were great, except with each movie, about an average of 3-5 times during the movie there would be a split second freeze or visual glitch. Like I said, it only lasts for a second, but as a perfectionist, this annoys me as I want a perfect play through of the movie with no hindrances. Again, this is odd because this is the first time watching these movies, so the discs are as clean as a whistle. Is this a common issue or is it somehow only reserved to my copy?

When the set was first released I got each of the Prequel discs from Netflix to see if my mind might have changed and I didn't think they were still turds (they are) and I didn't have any problem with them on my PS3.

You'd have to give us times in the movie we can compare.

Well, can you at least remember when you watched the prequels if there was any moments where the movie would freeze up for a second or if you saw any very brief visual glitches? And I'm talking about only the 2011 Complete Saga version, not sure if the standalone copies are different.

The Jabba the Hutt scene in episode IV wont play on mine anymore. It freezes up then jumps to the next chapter.
