Yeah, pretty much as soon as they left Naboo, they should have cut him loose. "Yeah, about that life debt thing? Forget it. Have a nice life."

Ok everybody:

I just seized the day and purchased the folowing from Half Priced Books, and this is the also the order I'm planning on reading it in:

1. The Han Solo Trilogy
2. Slplinter of the Mind's Eye
3. The Thrawn Trilogy

Do you think that is a good reading order? Also, what other Star Wars books/trilogies should I pick up since HPB has toms of them?

You nailed it brother!

The Clone Wars cartoons sort of fill in the gap and create the relationship that GL failed to portray in the movies.

The Clone Wars features both better character relationships between Anakin and Obi-Wan and also better love dialog between Anakin and Padme. Thats both the hand drawn Micro series and the new CG show.

Partically the Micro series did a much better job with the villians. Maul is basically a non-character nothing but an attack dog which I guess works in a sense but Dooku and Grevious never really get a chance to be baddasses in the movies. I can't help but feel that Obi-Wan should have taken a team of unnamed Jedi with him on his attack on Grevious. Grevious kills the other Jedi easily which establishes him as a threat and would have made Obi-Wans victory more exciting. However outside the Clone Wars shows and Expanded Universe we never see Grevious kill anybody or get a sense he is a credible threat.

Yep, hard to feel any real connection to the characters (including Grievous) and their relationships when they are not properly introduced or stroked throughout the movies.

Hell, by the end of ANH, Han and Luke have a tighter relationship than Obi-Wan and Anakin ever had.

And the relationship between Obi-Wan and Padme was just as painful.

Any single scene between Han and Leia is better than all of the scenes together between Anakin/Padme.

Yeah, but in AOTC, Padme's leather outfit during the fireplace scene is hot!

I'm not entirely sure about this list. It looks like someone just refrenced the known deleted scenes.

And there's a major one missing from the RotJ list. Where Vader goes to see the Emperor after being told to wait on the command ship.

Moff Jerjerrod and 2 of the Red Robed Guards try to stop him. And Vader chokes Moff Jerjerrod for his interference.

Yeah, Lucas considers TFU canon. Whether it is or not though, or wheather he goes back and changes his mind, doesn't change how great a story the game has.

I'm pretty sure I read an article somewhere that said the guy that played Starkiller is going to play Starkiller in the TV show, but I could be wrong on that.
SWEET!

Have to agree with OG on KOTOR. Fantastic game. IMO, TFU had the better story though.
