They'll be in a set, but nobody knows if they'll have individual cases or not. Bets are on a set kind of like the Alien Anthology - cardboard book, etc. The Bourne Trilogy is Universal's style and I doubt Fox would imitate Uni.

Personally I don't care for box sets. I'll probably wait for individual sales so my collection looks more complete. I am sure they will have specific releases for each film in the series eventually.

I'd give them about two years. I like box sets, so I have no complaints, but I can understand when people are uninterested in them

I hope it's nothing like two years. I honestly hope it will be about the exact same put-off as the LOTR individual releases, where they sold them some months after the box set.

Yeah, I think I'll pass up the most important blu ray release ever to, because I want to be able to stare at my collection and smile, instead of watching the movies.

That's what Blu-ray is all about. It's even better when everyone in your house has DVD Players.

You're comparing different companies with different models of releases though.

The Star Wars OT was available on DVD for at least a year before individual releases showed up - I can guarantee Fox will milk the full sets as long as they can.

Honestly, both Anakins at the end of Return Of The Jedi worked fine for me. I'll admit when I first heard that they were inserting Hayden in, I was dreading it, but they did a fine job making him blend in with Obi-Wan and Yoda.
And if Anakin should have appeared as he was before he died, then the original wouldn't make total sense either; he should have appeared looking like a very pale conehead (with cuts all over his face and limbs missing).

True. That's what I've been saying as well.

Hmmm...maybe Lucas will give him some 'plastic surgery' for the new release, as you would think that they would have that kind of medical technology.

I'm going to hold off on pre-ordering until I get exact statistics on the special features to be included with "The Complete Saga" and "The Original Trilogy" releases. If I don't think they are worth it, then I'll go OT, but if this "30+ hours of supplemental materials" is really, really good and CS exclusive, then I'll buy it and just ignore the blemish that is the Prequel Trilogy. Plus, who knows. Lucas has messed up the original trilogy, maybe he'd be willing to do the same to the prequels, except try and make them a little better (doubtful, but still it's a nice thought).

Then again, they couldn't even tell Padme was carrying twins.

They can put Ewoks on the moon...

It's 7 months away. It's not a huge surprise we don't have tons of detail yet.

I'm happy it's been announced. That's all that really matters when it comes to these movies.

No more wanting and hoping. No more plans scraped like what happened with the Indy films.

What happened to Indy? Are you referencing that there was talk of releasing the in Q4 2010 (which had an iffy source I think) or something else?
