Won’t know that until someone buys them and pops in the disc. My guess? Probably. But, you never know.

One of the people that got to access disney+ to review it mentioned Rogue One was available in 4K on Disney+. I assume all of the other star wars films are also in 4K on Disney+.

They're not. Not even TFA. Only 3 of them, I believe.

I'd like to get a 4K set as much as the next but I feel like they will be 4K exclusive to Disney+ for a while just to get those subs, it makes perfect sens to stick them behind a paywall and it would generate a fair few subs for them in the hopes of retaining everyone that is desperate to see them in 4K.

Maybe they're also just waiting for the home release of The Rise of Skywalker to put them out physically.

Do they at least say what bonus features are digital? So annoying that they couldn't just include the bonus features on a separate disc for the price being asked as I doubt these are new transfers. Most likely if anything they are missing the Fox logos like the digital releases.
But again with the bonus features it would nice to have all the making of stuff and digital exclusive stuff they included on the original digital release. As it was a shame to not have the original making of docs on the prequels and deleted scenes from the dvds missing from the bluray saga sets

On Amazon, the re releases of Star Wars and Empire have the theatrical version run times listed. I compared them to other releases listed on Amazon and the others have the special edition timing. I might be wrong about this but...
I know the re release of A New Hope has the special edition X-Wings on it but idk

All right, so, checked the back art for EACH film and ONLY Episode IV from the original six state 20th Century Fox in the credits. I am going to guess that Episode IV will be the only one with the 20th Century Fox logo and fanfare at the beginning...meaning the rest of the original six will be the digital versions of the films.

As for digital bonus features, none are listed. BUT, I have the digital copies from the films from when they were originally released and each film comes with a ton of stuff. I am not certain but you get most of what the Saga box set offered PLUS what was released on the special edition DVDs back in the day. The digital bonus features are not comprehensive but it’s still ALOT.

Is there at least a press-release from Disney that even suggests they are thinking about this? D23 came and went, and to my knowledge, no mention of this release was made there...

How do we know blu-ray.com isn't punking us?
And like clockwork they're all available again for order for $20/ea at Amazon.

EDIT: Amazon is price matching Target and Target has them listed for B2G1 free.

Odd that Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith are the only ones sold out at Target.

The new covers are ok. The artwork doesn't match that of The Rise of Skywalker obviously. Why re-purchase all of these just to have the final episode not match artwork wise? Either way, unless there is something special about these releases then I am passing. The only thing I might get would be Rogue One as I have yet to get that one. But, I am going for the cheapest priced release for that title; don't care about the artwork. If there is a complete box set next year then I will save pennies for that; only if it contains everything SW. Just put it all in one box so I can be done; all the extras, different versions, etc.

They're still using the wrong color saber on the AOTC cover?

Question

Are the new releases just the same, old transfers first used on the previous Blu-ray releases?

I wouldn’t count on that lol, Lucasfilm seems to be as bad as Disney when it comes to extras and porting existing ones to rereleases of their movies.

I hate the tinted artwork on the covers, but I understand that artists do that to better blend unsimilar elements together.

I got a few. They're the exact same discs minus cover and disc artwork
