Geez Louise, do you people not watch your bonus features on your SW Prequel DVDs? If you own the prequels on DVD, then you've also owned footage of the Yoda/Phantom Menace re-do for over half a decade, because its on there (not the whole scene, but they show it to you).

Actually, I purposely avoid most of the commentaries, making ofs and thing of that nature. For me, they ruin films.

I didn't have a problem with that but I think that's more than enough changes for that scene. Vader's old and been living in the suit longer than out of it. Sebastian Shaw did a fine job and Vader's supposed to be 35 years older than when we see him in ROTS so he shouldn't look like Christensen.

...And why shouldn't a person look like themself? Whenever it's possible to use the same actor, isn't that the best choice? Personally, I think the ghost should be that of an older Anakin. He died having turned back to the good side. He died a Jedi, not a Sith. Ben's spirit wasn't that of Ewen McGregor. Yoda's wan't that of a spry young Whil. They were both that of how they were when they entered the spirit realm. There is no reason for Anakin's ghost to be that of a young Anakin. The best solution would be for Hayden to play all of Anakin's parts (except the youngest one, for which he is too old).

I would also lke to see the Sith droid scene in the TPM reinstated. This was in the deleted scenes extras and i feel this was an intricate part of the story as it confirms Qui Gons suspicions.

these would polish off and link them once and for all.

LOL, I jokingly mentioned inserting Hayden into the Vader suit at the end of ROTJ. I'd be pissed if that happened. Shaw's edited face makes a convincing older version of a disfigured Hayden, imo.

But I'd like to see Shaw put back in the end of ROTJ. I know they say it should be Hayden since that's when Anakin was "good" but he should appear the age he died. He was after all redeemed in the end so there's no reason why he should have the appearance of when he betrayed the Jedi.

If Luke & Leia were just born at the end of RotS, how could Anakin be 35 years older in RotJ? That would put an approximate 15 year gap from ANH to RotJ, considering they were around 20 in ANH.

There's only about 6 months between ESB and ROTJ for one. And Anakin is 9 almost 10 in TPM.

I wouldn't trust that either, as GL is always changing his mind. I have an older, official encyclopedia of characters & timelines that puts C-3PO as being first activated 150 years prior to the OT.

23 Years Before The Battle Of Yavin - Attack Of The Clones
23-20 Years Before The Battle Of Yavin - The Clone Wars
20 Years Before The Battle Of Yavin - Revenge Of The Sith
-- The Battle Of Yavin - A New Hope
3 Years After The Battle Of Yavin - Empire Strikes Back
4 Years After The Battle Of Yavin - Return Of The Jedi

So Anakin is between 45-46 at the time of his death in Return Of The Jedi.

Who said they had feelings for each other in TPM? At most it can be inferred that Anakin had a crush on Padme, but she certainly didn't seem to reciprocate. Their mutual feelings for each other didn't manifest until AOTC when they were both adults.

Yeah I especially love how Anakin pretty much chased Padme around like a love sick puppy with no control over his emotions.

I still believe he used the Jedi mindtrick on the poor girl. And she gave him a blanket because he was upset he'd left his mother in TPM, she didn't get weird....
