PS: This thread is almost a parody of Star Wars fans now. It's completely and utterly hopeless. I think the same exact argument has been had 500 times now, and not a single person has been 'converted' or has been convinced to steer away from their original opinion.
So you finally caught on to the wonderful joys of the Internet eh?

"When it comes to the Star Wars Saga, here is the way I see it. The Prequel Trilogy is that super hot chick you finally land, and it's the best thing you've ever had. Unaltered Original Trilogy is some random chick you think is hot after a few drinks only to get her home and find out it's a dude."

That's actually pretty typical of Beast. If he can find a reason to refer to something as "fanboy whining", he will have no problem posting that, but when someone presents a level-headed analysis of why they didn't like the prequels, he will ignore it if he can't find some way to accuse of being fanboy whining, because to admit that someone has a well reasoned arguement (even if he doesn't agree with said agruement) about disliking the prequels is just beyond his capacity, apparently.

I've noticed his 'selectivity' in what he responds to, often ignoring hard-hitting posts that he likely can't come up with a good arguement against.

I see it more like the prequels are that really hot chick that you've wanted for a long time, and when you finally land her and try to have an actual relationship, you can't stand being around her because you have nothing in common and she has nothing interesting or intelligent to say.

Meanwhile the OT is more like the girl you've been friends with for years and have a lot in common with, who (while not a super-model) is actually very pretty, but you've just never previous looked at her "in that way", but upon finally seeing her in that light, you realize that she is everything you've ever wanted.

I can agree with you there. Han Solo is so awkward in that film. He's almost out of character, with his gooey-eyed romance with Leia. He even gets clingy when he see her talking with Luke lol

Default Star Wars Blu-Ray Picture Quality.

How do you think the pic quality will be for the blu-rays?

I would think only EP2 and EP3 would be the only ones where you can't tell the difference cause they look perfect.

I think EP1, EP4, EP5, EP6 would really benefit from the upgrade to blu.

I remember when EP1 came out in May 1999,the following month they had a special screening of EP1 on digital projectors,i don't know how many theaters showed it, but i remember seeing it several times, and there was a noticeable difference even during the pod race. it seemed that the wind and dust was coming at you on the screen, it was like you could see subtle things that you didn't during the regular EP1 release.

Also yoda was not digital.

I wonder? what sort of enhancements we will get for each episode? and will we see some stuff that we didn't see before like extra stuff placed in the background??

Ummmm, or I didn't see Tilapiah6's post until later maybe? I post here when I'm doing other things.

And don't feel the need to read every post before I make a comment. Or often skim things looking for interesting posts.

Add in the fact that it wasn't really a post that needed debate leveled at it. But to make Tilapiah6 feel good, I did re-read it.

I read the post and certainly saw the points he made. Didn't think I needed to respond to every post here. It's not Beast's Blu-Ray Forum.

I also do have a life, and don't have time to respond to every single post here.
It's fun in my free time, but I don't see it as a job that I have to focus all my attention on. So take a chill pill.

Perfect for DVD. Standard Def vs Hi-Def...you'll be able to tell a difference.

I always saw the 2nd chick "in that way" and when the new chick came along, I really wanted to get into her the same way (as did the rest of you).

Sure, the 2nd chick looked better in her day but we still love looking at her. I guess you could say we're attracted to her personality in addition to the 70's eye candy. Unfortunately someone thought she'd look better with fake boobs and more makeup when in fact the opposite is true.

Except that when you finally do realize she's everything you ever wanted, she's Old and Tired at 110 with dentures, a walker, an oxegen tank, and her chest looks like two fried eggs hanging from a nail.

Actually, she's only 33 and in her prime. The other chick is at best 12, so you're going to jail.
