You're all wrong anyways, ANH is a really nice lady, at 34 sure shes got some physically flaws, a gimpy leg, sometimes she mumbles a bit and she shows signs of wear and tear.

But her main problem is her dad won't let her out to play. The old bugger....

Man that opening scene in ROTS (bad acting aside) is going to look awesome in 1080p. Can't wait to see it. The end battle in AOTC between the clones and the droids will be excellent, as will the Kamino stuff.

As much as I love the OT, I can't imagine it looking anywhere near as good as the PT.

The opening minutes of ROTS (from the 20th Century Fox logo to when they start talking) are simply awe inspiring. The music was fantastic too. Still, I think if Lucas had used the green/blue screen less but pulled it out 100% for scenes like that, they would have had a lot more impact. I look forward to seeing it.

I'm not sure, the OT will be able to be scanned at a higher resolution if they go back to a film source than the PT which some people have mentioned was scanned at 2K for Ep. II and III . Effects wise I'd imagine the Ep. II and III will have the edge visually though over the rest of the series.

The whole thing seems like years away though until we hear more details on extras and the all important boxart....

Speaking of the Clones battle, I'm hoping their finish the SFX on some of the pre-viz stuff they showed in the specials. Flying geonosians, the speeder bikes, etc. I particularly liked seeing more Clones go down.... the theatrical battle seemed a bit too lopsided IMO.

I liked how lopsided it was, gave us an emphatic impression of how much better the clones of Jango were than the droid armies.

Yeah, it's supposed to be lopsided, but at least SOME clones should go down on screen. The only ones I recall are the ones by the AT-TE that gets hit by the missile. Those pre-viz shots show flying bugs shooing a couple of them and a some spider droids taking out a couple, too IIRC.

True, those stupid machines were taking out Jedi like crazy, they should be able to take down clones as well. Although one has to believe Palpatine had all of that happen to the machines so there would be no force left to challenge his clone army once he took over.

Yeah, the Clone Troopers were much better shots than the later Storm Troopers who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but they sure could hit a Jawa transport precisely!

You forget about the Rebel troopers on the blockade runner, too? They were dropping like flies. Stormtroopers are good shots when the main characters aren't protected by the Plot.

We have 4 or 5 of the main characters on this ship, I think we'll be fine.

I think that is present in most movies

Main characters are untouchable!

You could say that about the bad guys in just about any movie that involves shooting.
