However, it was too obvious. As with the change, the person who put out that order can only be one of two people, within reason. Lucas stated, in the AOTC commentary, I believe, that ROTS would resolve this, but it was written out, along with Boba Fett's role and a short cameo by a young Han Solo.

Personally, I don't think the Sifo Dyas thing is really all that important. Although, it does put the audience far ahead of the good guys.

I'm not paying attention to all these debates here. I'm just thrilled that I'm having a baby, plus, Star Wars comes out the same day he's due (Sept 27th). Kinda cool, s'all I'm saying.

Is that automatically determined by a user's activity?

I'm not sure if we're supposed to discuss that or not.
You have to do unspeakable things.

Yes, it's automatically determined by a user's activity, I'm pretty sure.

It has 15 letters which would be the right amount.

I owned a licensed replica of Mace's lightsaber up until a few years ago and that wasn't etched into the hilt and this was an exact copy of the screen used prop.
Yup! I owned the same MR saber back in the day, and no BMF in any language on the hilt. Not even old Ben's ANH saber was that f'd as the one in that pic! Windu's is definitely the most "PIMP" hilt ever made:

Slightly off-topic and I don't know if somebody already mentioned it or not, but Phantom Menace in 3D is set for early February next year. Date got announced fairly recently; I think it was the 10th.

If you are a betting man, I am willing to bet you $1000 it kicks ass at the box office. The only people who love watching the PT more than the gushers are the bashers.

This comes out just over four months after the blu-rays, and from what I've heard, it will be exactly the same except for the 3D. I'm not sure if I will be going since I'll already have it on blu-ray, and don't really care that much for 3D, but yeah, I bet people will go crazy for it!

It possibly could be what Mace's saber looked like when his saber was picked up off the streets of Coruscant after he got his hand cut off.

Yup, the 3-D versions stand to make Lucas a crapload of money.

The PT might be more enjoyable in 3-D mainly because it's 90% CGI. Movies like Avatar and Toy Story 3 looked way better in 3-D than, say, Clash of the Titans or Harry Potter. Just my opinion.

I wonder what changes we'll see by the time those are released. Maybe Greedo will shoot at us instead!

... Ok.
Maybe Count Dooku was posing as Master Sifo Dyas.

Wrong.

Each have more modelwork than the OT.

I am not a huge starwars fan but i will be picking this up as a sci fi fan. I was just talking about these tonight with my buddy saying it will probably still be a while before we see these on blu, had no idea i would come home and find this news.

Any idea on what versions we will be getting? i don't care but i would like them all, theatrical and otherwise. Im not a han shot first freak, but i don't really like the idea of old movies being "retooled". Kind of like the new fad of putting old games in an HD cover, the old ones are still mighty fine to me.

It won't include the original versions. As far as we know, it'll be the most recent versions.

Possibly with a few more tweaks and changes through the series. Like a Digital E1 Yoda.
