ROTS: tragic

TESB: spiritual

TESB should have Vader, Emperor, Star Destroyers...

I won't buy anything if they only release the "enhanced" Computer Glued Imperfect versions.

So to be fair, it would be the smartest for Lucas to put the unaltered editions together with the newest editions on separate discs (6 disc set) or the original trilogy. But first begin to sell the new trilogy ofcourse...Here's hope...

Well I am in the Ewok entense dislike camp also.

But the one thing that makes it just about impossible for me to even try to watch them is, that 'Ben Burt' for some crazy reason copied the exact Jawa scream from right after they zapped R2 in the canyon in IV, to using it as the Ewok battle cry two movies later.

WTF was he thinking? Did he really not think that we would not notice that?

1995 CLV discs (using the 1993 transfers and adding a Lucas intro).

I bought them as backup for my possible-rotted CAV collection.

I still have all of them BTW.

I love ALL the Star Wars movies. I'm dying for the Blu-rays, especially as the dvds aren't fully up to scratch - no DTS etc...

My favourites are as follows:

1. Revenge Of The Sith
2. Return Of The Jedi
3. Attack Of The Clones
4. Empire Strikes Back
5. A New Hope
6. The Phantom Menace

George Lucas is a Hero. He needs to get a move on with these Blu-rays though and make damn sure they deliver!

Of course the official film posters are unbeatable but the 'Faces 2010' covers look great - far nicer than the dvd artwork.

Why sacrifice a megabit of bandwidth for something that not only sounds the same, but sacrifices frequencies above 15kHz? Because it's louder?

It honestly doesn't just sound louder than DD to me - different sounds leap out over others - it's punchier and the balance is different. I do know where the volume button on my amp is - I really wish that was the solution to enhancing DD to DTS!
