Yea, I would really LOVE to see a video clip of 'Harrison Ford' reading that narration, if it exists, and it would make a fantastic extra for the BD set.

Default Regarding Luke's training??

I know that Yoda and Obi-wan helped train him but how much time was there in between TESB and ROTJ cause obviously Luke was more aggressive by ROTJ one would think he learned everything in a short period of time what puzzles me is when Luke tells Yoda that he is a jedi Yoda seems to react like he was not fully trained yet??

Not sure if that's using the same measurement for a year that we're familiar with though.

Edit: Apparently not (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Galac...ndard_Calendar), but it's close.

Ill probably get the entire thing, mostly just for the behind the scenes stuff which I really enjoy watching, even if I dont love any of these movies. Love seeing what went into creating them.

The movies themselves are just ok for me. There is just so much hokey dialogue, poor acting, embarassing scenes in all of these movies. I loved them as a kid, but they have NOT aged well. I watched them all about a year ago and it was a little painful.

The corny looking aliens, the scene in revenge of the sith with the emperor yelling POWWWWWWEEEERRRRR, the awful love scenes in attack of the clones, return of the jedi with that dumb ass looking band playing with the alien with the long lips, how goofy Yoda was in Empire, I could go on for days about what is so ridiculous about every one of these movies and how many cringe worthy scenes there are, but the fact is they are still legendary so I just feel like I should own it anyway.

BTW, I think that Clone Wars show (not the clone wars movie), is better than every SW movie. Looks great on blu too.

Default Titles Lucas chooses for his Episodes

Anyone notice that Lucas Creates his titles for each episode based an events /characters from that specific movie:

THE PHANTOM MENACE:

Obviously THE PHANTOM being Sidious and MENACE meaning the Trade Federation.

ATTACK OF THE CLONES:

Obviously refers to the way in which the CLONES ATTACK at the end of the movie.

REVENGE OF THE SITH:

Obviously refers to the SITH finally getting their REVENGE on the jedi for more than a millenia's worth of failed attempts at revenge. and also the SITH'S desire to rule everyone.

A NEW HOPE:

Obviously refers to Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie and how out of no where they have become A NEW HOPE for the rebellion to end the tyranny of the empire.

EMPIRE STRIKES BACK:

Obviously refers to how the EMPIRE kept winning in their fight against the rebellion and how the EMPIRE kept relentlessly hunting them down after the destruction of the first death star.

RETURN OF THE JEDI:

Obviously refers to Luke being the only JEDI to RETURN after years of everyone believing that the JEDI where wiped out. and it also marks the end of the only remaining sith thus ridding the universe of the corruption of the darkside.

Please tell me this was supposed to be funny. It wasn't, but at least that would be better than the alternative.

Just the holiday special plus something called Jar Jar's Adventure.

Those that order the complete saga will get all six movies with 5 minutes of additional footage re-inserted back in.

Default Vader/Anakin

AFTER

Being taken away from his mother at an early age.
Watching his mother die right in his arms.
Having to hide his relationship with Padme.
Being asked to betray a friend (Palpatine)
Not being offered full jedi master status AFTER he single handedly killed Dooku and saving the chancellor's life.
Being betrayed by Windu and the jedi who tried to end Palpatine's life.
Believing that not only his wife BUT his children have died as a result of his anger.

THEN

Being burned alive on Mustafar by the person who he thought of as a father figure.
Being placed in that armored life support system forever trapped within it.
Being slowly turned into a cyborg year by year to replace certain organs/parts.
Not being able to survive outside of the suit.
Never being able to see the sun and breath the fresh air anymore.
Being only able to take off his mask in a hyperbarric chamber.
Living with the depression and guilt of what he has done and what he's become.
Killing innocent jedi cause he never let go of his anger and he blames them for everything that has happened to him.

AND YET

After all of this a man who has had so much anger in him so much hate can just as easily redeem himself through his son he was able to see that he did still after all the bad that has happened to him have good in him and that it took his own flesh and blood to point it out for him.

Vader never had anyone who loved/liked him in all those years being Palpatine's puppet yet all it took was the love of his son to bring him back to the good side and to redeem himself.

Either way you look at it Anakin/Vader was never truly 100% evil.

As for the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the force, it was Anakin he got a little side tracked along the way but through his son he was able to bring balance by ridding the galaxy of the emperor.

I'm sorry, but how much I do enjoy posts that are actually about the movie, these posts just come off as naive. I mean, everyone who has seen all six movies can come up with what you've said.

Nevertheless, Vader obviously is evil. He chokes Rebels with his bare hands (bare robot arms? I have no idea) when he feels they don't give him the information he requires. The same with his own crew. Being afraid that your wife might die, or feeling you're being held back is no reason to kill and oppress millions of people.

I just watched Clones last week/weekend, and it finally struck me how silly it is that Padme even ever fell in love with him. They're together for like 3 days, during which he whines, scares her, kills little kiddie tuscan raiders, throws things, complains about being a jedi, tells her to lie, etc., then at the end of the 3 days she's all "I truly, deeply, love you."

Huh?

(PS Yes, I can suspend disbelief, as I've done all these years. )

I hope Shakespeare didn´t ruin anyone´s childhood but I suggest reading "Romeo & Juliet"... ;-)
