.
The Final Film. Yes, originally it referred to an earlier trench run by Luke and such. But it still works just fine as is.

TFU which I was told is canon.

Still have never seen any indication in any movie that Palps controls Vader that way. Vader makes his own decisions while still being obedient to the Emperor. Would he be a Sith Lord if he was a zombie slave?

I can't remember if it's in the trailer for one of the Unleashed games, but doesn't Starkiller destroy a Star Destroyer? I always thought that was some serious Force power, I don't understand why they chose the Starkiller name when it was too hokey for Luke Skywalker.

Maybe we´ll see all new Posters drawn by Drew for the Blu-Rays or 3D rerelease.
Drew Struzan has retired, so unfortunately we won't be seeing any new works by him. I'd prefer the original poster art for all the movies, but since Lucas wants them to seem 'new' (or not dated) the SE artwork for the original trilogy would be fine as well. George Lucas is actually a big proponent to drawn posters, since he specifically wanted that Struzan's artwork for Episode I was used worldwide. So it's odd that he didn't use those for the DVD covers.

I don't think the set will have individual cases my money's on a Digipak. Unless they copy the OT release with 4 Amarays and a double slipcase. We might get a 3 Amaray set each with three discs in. Each would have a collage of each Trilogy and one for the three bonus discs/features. I'd prefer separate cases (even slims) over a Digipak unless it was something special.

I kinda figured that Fox was using the Alien Anthology last year to test the waters for a similar design with SW. I'm just curious as to whether or not it paid off for them.

While that is a possibility, that still doesn't necessarily mean anything. The Alien Quadrilogy DVD set came out about a year before the Star Wars OT DVD set, and the packaging was completely different. The Alien set came in a huge, fold out digipack, while the SW movies came in separate cases in a slip box.

So, there's really no way to be sure one way or the other at this point.

Yeah, there's a really awesome level where you pull a Star Destroyer down from the sky in the 1st one. I still haven't played the 2nd one but I hope it's better.

I'm not sure why Vader decided to call him Starkiller... Probably because he's good at killing? lol

That's good news. I think SW will have its own design, determined by Lucas and Lucasfilm. Fox has little to say in that matter me thinks.

It's a nod to the early drafts of "The Star Wars" starring Luke Starkiller.

He´s retired after his work on Indy 4 officially...
although he did a Poster for the Walking Dead since he´s close friends with Frank Darabont. I think if Lucas asked him he´d do some artwork for Star Wras as well. It´s not that he´s retired from painting. He just do any commissions anymore... I think Star Wars would be an exception.

James Cameron, Jeffrey Katzenberg, George Lucas to Do CinemaCon Panel Together

4:56 PM 3/15/2011 by Pamela McClintock

Along with Chris Meledandri, they will be discussing all aspects of digital cinema - one of the more high-powered panels ever hosted by the convention.

James Cameron, Jeffrey Katzenberg, George Lucas and Chris Meledandri are set to appear together on a panel at CinemaCon, the annual convention of theater owners that takes place later this month in Las Vegas.

They’ll be discussing all aspects of digital cinema. It’s one of the more high-powered panels ever hosted by the convention, although Lucas and Cameron appeared together at the convention in 2005 to talk about digital 3D. CinemaCon runs March 28-31 in Las Vegas; the session on digital cinema will be held March 30.

The following morning, Cameron will give a talk on projection frame rates.

The convention-previously called ShoWest -is getting a facelift this year and a new name. The National Assn. of Theater Owners is now in full control of the show.

Maybe we will hear something about the upcoming 3D conversions or a brand new trilogy here.

Frankly this has stood out to me more so than any other older effect that they already "redid" in the past updates... I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

I also think the seen with Jabba in ANH could use some additional tweeking. I know supposedly in the 2004 DVD release it is the Jabba CG model from Phantom Menace being used (and I really liked the way that he looked in TPM), but something about it still seems 'off' about it. Sure, it was a big improvement over the way he looked in the 1997 release, but something doesn't seem right. I think it may be, at least in part, his coloring. He just looks too dark. I have a feeling (and this is pure speculation on my part) that they dropped the newer CG Jabba into that scene before they "corrected" the color timing on it for the 2004 release, hence why his coloring seems so dark.
It's worth mentioning that the lightsabers look so hinky because they're the original effects. Sure, the odd-squad colour timing & contrast changes have done their bit to exacerbate the creaky FX work, but if people dig out their old VHS tapes (or even the UOT DVD) they'll see the same problems. Sabers with no cores, colours changing from shot to shot, Vader's "bubblegum" saber etc etc. It's all there. Luke's lasersword isn't green aboard the Falcon, but it sure as heck ain't blue. So yeah, I'd love to see the lightsabers get a complete overhaul. That said, they're not perfect in the PT either!

As for Jabba, I'd also love to see him properly colour-corrected. I think the redone CG work is terrific, but the colour is all kinds of wrong.

A few more fixes would be great: FINALLY fix Artoo's blue/black panels in Star Wars, fill in the see-thru eyes of the little alien in the cantina, and erase the reflection of the boom mike in Luke's goggles just before he gets clobbered by the wampa in Empire.

Believe it or not i have never seen 5 of the 6 Star Wars movies. I have only seen Revenge Of The Sith with my sister. I liked it but for some reason i just never got around to the others. I might have to rent these to see if i like the rest.

I have a question? Does anyone know if any more changes are being made to the films? Or if any deleted scenes are being inserted back into the film such as this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0750bfNQx8 which was shown when they announced the movies coming to blu ray?
