As for my favorite film...it's probably Ep. III - Revenge of the Sith. Yeah, I know...sacriledge, even for this old timer, but I think that this film is the most "Star Wars-esk" of all of them, IF you take into account what's been in the EU all these years. By that I mean, ROTS really has that Star Wars EU feel to it. From the planetscapes to the lightsaber battles and space/land battles.

If the OT could be redone using modern film technology, I could just imagine what could be done. Hoth for example could look more like the old Ralf MacQuary (sp?) paintings. The Bespin environment would look a lot more realistic. You can't tell me that those scenes with the Falcon flying through the clouds looked real perspective-wise.

But anyway the reason why I like ROTS for the environments it portrays, is because it pretty much set the stage for the Clone Wars series. Which I think in of itself eclipses everything that was in in all three PT movies. But you asked which SW film was your favorite, so I said ROTS because it gave us Clone Wars.

She was 14 in Episode 1 and he was 9 years old, so in Episode 2 ten years later she is 24 and he is 19.

Do any of you ever actually watch the prequels

While we are on the topic of Natalie Protman... asside from the fact that she is HOT!!!

I gained a lot of respect for her as an actress when I saw Léon The Professional a little while back!

She really came into her own at a young age! And it showed in the prequels!!!

I actually loved her in episodes I & 2 but even I will admit she wasn't at her best, probably because of George's horrid script writing.

I agree, she's hit and miss in her movies (Anywhere But Here, V for Vendetta, and Closer when she won the Golden Globe & nominated for Academny Award, and even The Other Boleyn Girl were great), but SW was not her best -maybe it had something to do w/ the directing. I also noticed she seemed to do much better in her scenes w/ Ewan than Hayden.

She's also even more beautiful now than she was in the SW PT.

Ani? My goodness, you've grown. Ani, you'll always be that little boy I knew on Tattooine.
Oh yes, easy to be taken seriously saying stuff like that.

In terms of FAVORITE, Yes I divide the trilogies because it is not fair to lump them together, they are on different levels.

In terms of each trilogy, I have exactly the same order of preference!
My overall order is still slightly different:

I - Empire
II - A New Hope
III - Jedi
IV - TPM
V - ROTS
VI - AotC - the only one I consider truly 'bad' out of the saga.

It was easier to take her more seriously as a 12 year old wielding a gun!

But I still think it was the script writing for her in SW!!!

Give me any form of Star Wars on Bluray and I will be stoked. Jar Jar Binks, The Prequels, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, and the Special Editions kicked ass. However, one thing remains certain. Han Solo really did shoot first.

I have asked that myself so many times by now!

Most people probably just listened to a couple of idiotic comments by that extremely hilarious, so-called reviewer on YouTube.

One question: Where does it say that ANH takes place 19 years later than ROTS? Nowhere in the movies, right? And frankly those are the only ones that matter to me.

Luke doesn't look like 19 to me, neither does Leia, nor does Ben look like he's only aged 19 years, more like 29.

I'd say it takes place about 25 years after ROTS.

Seriously, I think TPM had one of the worst scripts of all-time, I think the only reason more people weren't LOLing at the script was because they were so happy to finally see new SW for the first time in 16 years.

If you think about it though people age pretty damn significantly within 20 years. I was watching Shawshank Redemption the other day and holy crap time was not kind to Tony Robbins. And it isn't uncommon to have 20 somethings play teenagers either. But the 19 year timeline is def iffy.

I was pumped on TPM when it came out. I was 9 years old at the time but I still love it

What about The Professional! And her best work: might be NSFW.
