I like it. Showing Anakin and Luke on Tatooine with the Twin Suns. Very fitting classical imagery.

If that's the real one, I can live with it. It's not Horrendous, but the 2 individual (OT & PT) are much better IMO.

In all seriousness, the idea isn't necessarily a bad one, but I don't like the execution (based on what I've seen so far).

Technically, Vader *is* on the cover, only he's 10 years old and he's just walked through Luke's Ghost.

I don't really like these designs, but at least these are art and not a bad photo collage spattered with lens flares.

I admit that the DVDs left something to be desired, but they could have been worse.

My whole thing is that I like having all of the movies in normal cases in a slip-box that holds them all, and on my shelf I like to have the open end of the slip box facing out so that I can see the spines of all of the individual movies. And I was really hoping to have Star Wars in this form.

I will wait until we find out what the type/inside packaging for the complete saga is. But as of right now, I actually like the two separate trilogy release packagings better (even though they still aren't my ideal type of packaging). If it wasn't for the fact that there is content that we can only get in the Saga set, I might actually consider getting the two separate trilgies instead of the complete saga set based on what we've seen so far.

for me, i don't care what the box art looks like. if it just said starwars the complete saga in white letters with black background that's fine with me. i'm buying it because i want to see good and hear quality movies not look at the box art. hell, i'll only see the box when i'm taking a disc out of it to watch the movie or putting it back in when i'm done watching a movie. box art means nothing to me, quality of disc contents means everything to me. of course that's just me, i do respect others who want super hyped box art; it would be real nice, but (for me) it's not necessary.

I'm not surprised in the least, the DVD's are Dolby Digital EX, makes sense that the bluray would be the same sound configurement. Guess we'll see what the theatrical soundmix of 'The Phantom Menace 3D' (February '12) will be if they remix it to discrete 7.1

Agreed, I'm hoping both trilogies are in there separate cases inside. And that would just be a slipcover box.

Nope. Not joking. I like it because it's not hyping Vader or Yoda. Or characters that are just a part of the Saga.

The 6 films are about the Skywalker family, in particular Anakin and Luke. So it's very fitting.

Which would ignore the entire narrative of the Star Wars Saga. So I'm glad they went with this.
