I was looking forward by a new/fresh commentary by the cast...not ben burt and dennis again...Guess I got overly passionate and dissapointed that it's not there...

Would I have to think outside the box in order to live off the grid?

That doesn't really sound like my cup of tea.

Harrison Ford did participate in the video interviews for the full-length documentaries "Empire of Dreams: The Story of The Star Wars Trilogy" and "Dangerous Days: The Making of Blade Runner" so he doesn't despise the "sci-fi" part of his past. Oh wait, he did also star in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which has a major 'sci-fi" element to the story.

From the sound of it, Lucasfilm pretty much ran out of 'new" material for this Blu-ray Disc set since the previous DVDs and Laserdiscs covered everything so...

We get a second commentary edited from years of archival audio from interviews which besides the Bond films from Criterion, can also be found on The Getaway (1972) and Fantasia.

I like it...it's the two suns and the two trilogies merging together in one page. its like Anakin passing by Luke and Luke knowing his past..I think it's a cute cover.

I completely understand. I'm just yanking your chain. My whole family aside from me and my father is on facebook, and if you search real hard I'm on there somewhere.

I know you guys probably think i'm crazy because i'm making a big deal about the commentary...but the commentaries are so important coming from the actor...
Mark Hammill is VERY busy. Look at his imdb page. Since the early 90s he has put out more work than Fisher and Ford combined. You've probably heard his voice a few times this week and haven't even realized it. I would love a new commentary from Hammill as I think the guy is just a good interview and he KNOWS his audience well. But it looks like this is not a new commentary. Maybe the 3D release (Hammill has hinted at retiring a few of his key voice roles, the Joker for example).

Wow, talk about insanity. I don't even know 15 people that well in my life, outside of my family...to say nothing about 1,500. I only started my Facebook page to make amends with a former flame, and once that was done, I abandoned it. I'm not really into the recent "connection craze" at all.

My guess is that we all have to play this waiting game, and work for the reveal longer so that Lucasfilm can play with our minds and hearts before they reveal what ELSE is in the release...

ahem... UOT maybe? digital yoda in TPM maybe? more edits to the SE's maybe? who knows.

I think their is a delightful surprise at the end of the wait!

I hope.

I join on Facebook in order to track old school friends which I had lost contact and not seen in many years, which sounded like a good idea at the time.

Then I notice why we had lost contact

Then I started receiving post on my page about people telling me all about their silly daily lives.

"going to the store", "I am at the restaurant", "at the gym training"

Guess what one and all? I do not give a crap what you are doing, is that clear on should I use a different language

In short Facebook is just not for me.

I think we can all do without that piece especially the part where Carrie Fisher attempts to sing. It made me cringe when I first saw it years ago.

I think its just ridiculous, in what's considered a "friend" these days. Not so long ago, a friend was someone you actually knew, liked, and spent time with on a regular basis. You shared a personal bond, and it became stronger over time. Unfortunately, now its the equivalent of just being another name on someone's list in cyberspace. How disappointing.
