Well, it reminds my everything except Star Wars. Beyond awful.

I'm from Poland and I hope Europe will have different (and better!!!) cover for The Complete Saga which I already preordered.

I rarely complain about cover art, very rarely. I spend so little time looking at the case compared to the discs that are on it. But I have to say that is probably the worst thing they could have chosen for the complete set. Both the other ones are great - I'd take either of them over Annie-baby. You are absolutely correct - it looks like the cover of one of those EU storybooks they make for kids "Annie's adventure in town".

The image shows neither Stars, nor Wars. I wanted dark and sleek...with all the amazing Star Wars art out there, this is the absolute last thing I would have chosen.

Funny that some of you don't like this... I find it incredibly artistic and AWESOME. I love it!

That is freaking gorgeous! That said, I don't find it surprising that the opinions of the cover art is so wildly polarized -- there is NO way you will ever please every Star Wars fan because the movies mean so many different things to different people. As for me, I think the Complete Saga cover captures it beautifully.

Hopefully there will be new info in the screensaver about to go live. It's probably just the same video though.

Why... WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

If i could think of 1 thing i would never want on the box art for the complete saga, it would be young Anakin Skywalker. Well, that or Jar Jar.

I'll be custom covering the crap out of this set!!!!

well i dont see the point of the video at all, except for the cover art it basically only tells me that the blu ray will be full of behind the scene extras?

TBH, i would have preferred info on things like, what's been tweaked, is CGI Yoda in the TPM, will the emperor be added into A New Hope, plus anymore scenes added?

I would really like to see Hayden in a mapping of Vaders unmasking in Jedi, also a holocrom communicay with the emperor of some description in A New Hope. Probably Luke's lightsaber scene added in Jedi along with Vaders throat grip on the imperial guards when he's on his way to the emperor's throne room?

Theres loads tht needs to be added just to "finish" things off and stitch everything together.

Oh, i would also like to see how the "Emperor" was named "Emperor? in ROTS Yoda and Obi Wan came out with "The Emperor" nothing was actually stated as to why? I think it's just something the Jedi came out with and probably crown a Sith lord who comes to power "The Emperor

Ah well, role on September as the transfers should be shit hot along with the sound, i just hope the sound track in A New Hope has been upgraded?

I agree with you. Star Wars has a different meaning for each individual person and the fan base age has such a huge margin that it's almost impossible to please all. I think the Complete Sage box art is awesome and I personally like it a lot, the next guy will probably hate it. All that matters in the end though is how well they look and sound.

I think we're forgetting that Star Wars is Anakin's story and to me it makes sense to put the young, innocent Anakin on the cover along with Luke who eventually managed to bring the good Anakin back.

I don't have a problem with this... my problem is in the execution of the concept. The color scheme, the art style, everything about it just doesn't feel Star Wars to me. Luckily I am buying this for the awesome picture quality, despite today's "revelation" offering nothing to excite me in that department.

Agreed, I'm loving the Original Trilogy box art. Sadly, I want all the bonus discs, so I'll be stuck buying that aweful looking Complete Saga.

The most likely reason no new interviews are included is simply because the actors are no longer bound by their contracts to promote the films. Therefore to secure their involvement they would have to be paid.

So, last week's big announcement about today's big announcement all lead up to a 3.5 minute video that took 6 hours to load and just had front shots of 3 covers.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is a brilliant idea for LFL or what...

Wow... that cover art looks absolutely awful. I don't like the young Anakin, the fact that it's drawn like a children's book illustration (as noted by others) makes it look like a kid's movie, and it doesn't capture the themes of Star Wars very well IMO.

On the flip side, we have Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader cover art, which I thought captured the theme and art of the movie quite nicely.

Well it looks like "all" was revealed today...a bit disappointing since I was hoping for at least SOME pictures. Maybe even a 'real' video.

Oh well, at least we got the box art and an idea of the special features. Not "ALL" info of the special features have even been released yet though!

Also hoped that there would be screenshots just to see if they color corrected them or not..

You know what? Could they not have the courtesy of putting the special features of the present dvd's onto the box set? Even in standard definition?
