Of course they have. It's Star Wars. For a lot of people, it doesn't matter which version. To a lot of people, it's just Star Wars.

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of a good artwork...

Does anyone know if the movies will be in individual cases inside the boxes or will each trilogy be in 2 bigger cases?
The Saga set looks like a Digibook to me, I thought the two separate trilogies would fit inside the Saga case but that would mean an extra case for the ninth disc (unless they stick it in an sleeve/envelope which would be uncool), so I think it's Digibooks for the three sets. I would have prefered a Digipak gatefold because we'd get more artwork (I would have loved separate cases for each film).

I actually like the black box with just the name on it way more than the complete saga they showed.

I agree. Previous to yesterday, I had thought that was the artwork anyways.

I was hoping the complete saga would stay that way. Or at least be something good. that picture on the box looks ugly as all hell. May just buy the separate trilogies, at least those are decent looking.

No matter how the cover art looks, there are always some people who dislike it.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing the same thing. The only downside is if you buy them separately, you lose getting the ninth disc of special features that is included in the complete saga set. Haven't decided if that is worth it yet or not for me, I'll probably wait until closer to the release to decide, when hopefully some specs will be available as to what the ninth disc includes.

Why is cover art important enough that people would deny themselves the extra disc? I don't get it. I love the saga cover, personally, but even if I didn't, I'd still order it.

I'll never watch them anyways most likely. Just the movies for me. That's way better than that crappy box.

I mean wtf, is that supposed to be Anakin walking through Luke's ghost or his own? Totally lame.

As SleeperAgent said, and I agree, I am not sure I would watch the extra disc anyways, depending on what features it includes, etc. The movies are really much more important to me. I guess I am just not into some special features as much as others may be.

i don't get it why are so many fans upset with the cover art for the complete saga blu-ray box set? I thought it looks really good it's the image of the twin suns one of the most iconic images of the series.

I'd guess that cover art looks a bit more mature and some users might not get it. Just my opinion. I personally like it. Or maybe some people has to complain about everything, even when the issue does not really bother them too much.

There will still be plenty of special features anyways. We're only losing out on one disc extra. I canceled the complete saga and put both trilogies in my Amazon wish list. they'll end up in my gold box before release, I'm sure of it.

And to everyone saying that I'm just complaining, yeah I am. With good reason. I dislike this cover as opposed to the clean, black placeholder with the title on it. That looked classy, this looks like some random drawing.

Yeah, but it could have done without Jake Lloyd front and center. I would much rather had a cover that had each main character's face on it with a Star Destroyer or the Death Star in the background.

For me personally, I think it just deserves better. Another user commented that it looked like a drawing/painting made for a children's book, and I agree. I guess I was just hoping it would be one of the classiest Blu-Ray sets available, especially considering the magnitude of its release for the franchise, and for the format.

They need something to ***** about. I watch the movies and special features don't spend ant time staring at the case.

I don't really care much about the art. Don't think it's the best evAr or anything, but I'm content with it. I'm more interested in the packaging... digibook? If so, I'll probably be doing custom art and popping it into some ordinary BD cases (if not slimlines), anyway.

I completely understand those whom do not care about that extra disk (bonus features) going for the individual sets because the cover art of the Saga is fugly/odd. I see the connection and get the concept behind it, but I have to think there are better ways to do it. Plus the art up close isn't very impressive.

But if having two seperate boxes instead of one on your shelf makes ya happy, fn go for it dude! I have to admit it is tempting to skip the big box because I honestly don't care about the bonus disk (Docs on fanboys and toys? Um..yeah, no thanks...) and I do like the other art better. But my preorder has been in for months on the full Saga and I can't be bothered to change it right now. So its not a deal breaker for me, but I can understand how it could be for some.
