I'll take Han shooting first but please for the love of God do not use the old Ewok party; Yub Nub makes me nauseous and I loved the changed song used in the Special Edition.

Any movie older than 5 years old should be completely remade because of the better technology. Casablanca sucks because it's too old.

If so, they should get Nick Park. He's the master of that.

You have to upload the picture to some offsite website that host photos, like Photobucket or something. I use Windows Live myself.

And then when you do, it'll give you the direct URL to the picture and then you copy and paste the URL with [image] tags. It's the same process for any site, really.

So you think that they should remale both the Matrix Trilogy and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy already?!?!

Ok, Casablanca was released in November of 1942, and any movie that is 68 will look old, but that's why it is a classic. Tell me what today's technology will do for Casablanca, and why anyone would be interested in seeing a period romantic drama re-done with modern actors and modern technology?

IMO 5 years is a terribly short time to re-do movies, in fact I would prefer if many would never be re-done... the entire popularity of older movies, sci-fi or not, is that they carry the feeling and look of the time they were made in and there are many who would never give that up for a remake! Including myself...

The Original Trilogy is brilliant in itself just the way it is in it's original presentation... And the prequel trilogy is brilliant in it's new technology. The two gaps in technology separate the two trilogies and make them unique to their period, and it is this separation that makes the whole saga so great, and why I love both equally.

Neither should ever be re-done, that's just IMO!

Click in the reply box, then you'll get another window that has a button that says "Choose File". Just find the file, click Open, then Upload then click the little arrow next to the and select the name of the now attached file there and it will post it.

I think LOTR is male enough. Any more dudes and the whole thing becomes an eleven and a half hour sausage fest. While The Matrix Trilogy has the perfect female to male ratio.

I was being sarcastic. I was commenting along the same lines as slick1ru2 was. I used Casablanca (which is a masterpiece) as an (extreme) example of why newer technology doesn't always mean older movies need fixing. I do have one season of Star Trek TOS where the effects have been upgraded. It's nice but the original effects are okay too. That's how I watched the series when I was young. I used "5 years" because improvements in technology are happening pretty quick and I knew that 5 years would seem a ridiculous time frame to re-make a movie. Hence my point that improvements in technology don't mandate re-making a movie.

But I do think Lord of the Rings needs to be re-done. Not because of the technology though.
