But the complete saga has an extra disc.

The trilogy sets only has 3 discs each. So the complete saga has 3 exclusive discs, not one.

By the way, the trailer for Red Tails looks fantastic!

Can anyone answer this?

All we know that it will be the definitive version of the movies. The deleted scenes will be there as bonus for sure but no one knows if some of them will be put back into the movies.

Somebody wrote an email to Lucasfilm, they replied something like it will be the definitive version from all the previous releases. Whatever that means.

And for a Sith Lord to lose to a jedi padawan is insulting to the Sith, and therefore Maul is by far the weakest.
Yeah he was the weakest but not WEAK. Isn't it insulting for someone who is pretty much a Jedi master to lose to the apprentice of the true Sith lord in a 1 on 1 fight? If Maul was not powerful Sidious wouldn't waste his time with him. Maul was arrogant (taunting Qui-Gon) and headstrong those were the flaws that lead to his downfall. I do agree that Dooku was more powerful though as he was once a Jedi Knight and therefore had a broader knowledge of the force.

Remember skill wise Maul beat both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, he let his guard down thatst it (also kind of a flaw as there is no way hed just watch Obi-Wan flip over him whilst having ample time to kill Obi-Wan).

Also I always thought Maul was more like a student to Sidious while Dooku was really what Vader is in the OT, so it is unfair to compare them anyhow. I am just tired of Maul getting crapped on around here when he was powerful enough to defeat both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in battle. All in all he is a character that was very cool and ultimately very scary. To me was the epitome of what Sith was to the Jedi at the time of TPM, before they revealed themselves after 1000's of years.

I would actually say this is far from good if you are one of those that have heard the new howl in the Sounds Of Star Wars book.
I was at this presentation, three times. We pretty much got to see full minutes of footage that never cut away of lots of things during that sequence.

The new sound Obi-Wan makes is really cool. Can you articulate what you didn't like about it? I thought it made more sense than his non-human sounds he's made over the years from the Hanna Barbara sounds to the Boga-life yelp.

I have this feeling there going to reinsert the deleted scene in Revenge of the Sith when Yoda lands on Dagobah.

This is the opposite of what they told me at Comic Con. They used the term "new digital master." I wouldn't make presumptions based off marketing footage from trailers that were probably constructed from a library assembled before work on this set even began. That said, I don't entirely trust the guys working Comic Con as really being in the know.

Earlier in this thread Adywan showed a comparison to footage from the presentation at Comic-Con that still had that same glitch in it.

Can anyone repost some of the rumored/confirmed screenshots of the BD? I tried searching but hundreds of results came up.

I hope not. I don't think it's relevant at all, and it slows things down.
He was right deleting it from the theatrical and DVD releases, and I expect this one to be no different.

It does look beautiful though, especially the approach to the planet is breathtaking.

They should use that shot for Luke's arrival on Dagobah in TESB.

I like this new ending to ROTJ.

hxxp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0EqJjUPbLs&feature=related

If George changes the current Hayden Christensen evil glare ending with this one, I'd be first in line to purchase the set, 2004 transfers and all.

I particularly like how Fox and Lucas have announced this new movie. I guess they must've decided to just announce it to that site. Everyone else in the world wasn't allowed to know.

Their attempt at a Lucas quote is quality work. "Watch this space!"
