Has anyone seen the iPhone app yet?

A friend told me that there is the shot of the crossed lightsabers of ROTS, and it's fixed!!!! Did anyone see that??

I wonder why nobody has mentioned it.

Probably, because only negative news find a place in here.

It appears they did fix them. On the main page of that app are brief scenes from all the films. The lightsabers appear not only color fixed but completely replaced. If you have the app check out the brief clip of Obi-wan from Episode IV duel. Close up shot of that lightsaber looks crispy

I'm not sure how you can deduce all the lightsabres have been replaced by this one frame (thanks for posting btw). I just pulled up ANH and the scene looks exactly the same, with the white cored sabres.

You need to look through the other films 'pages' to get a better idea of how they look different. The colours look far, far better than the DVD - I really can't wait now.

The shots on the app are too fast and brief, not enough to proof anything. But what's there from Episodes IV-VI looks good in my eyes, proper red/green with white cores, no pink. I guess that Obi-Wan shot was never a problem on the DVD. Can't find the shot with the crossed lightsabers in front of the Emperor though.

That email from Lucasfilm about the lightsabers being fixed, it seems to be possible, just need more footage. We'll know soon enough.

Sorry people, but it still does look the same as in 2004 version. I just took a picture of it:

NOTHING is fixed. Until now, it is still the same piece of crap. Even in this shot Vader's lightsabre is pink.

Also, I'm still waiting for this to look exactly this:

Keep in mind, that it is the same lightsabre.

You mean that I can only get the bonus feature discs if I buy the saga collection?

Why am I not suprised.

I will be buying the saga set on Sept 16, but will promptly mail the discs for episodes 1-3 to Lucasfilm c/o George Lucas. You can keep 'em George, as gifts from me to you.
