[QUOTE=Sylentwolf]ALSO: Stated by Peter Sciretta of Slashfilm.com:
"BestOfLuckProductions.com (via: AICN) reports that the animated television series would revisit the original cast of characters from Star Wars in post Return of the Jedi Adventures, and that “not everyone who dies in sci-fi stays dead.” Apparently we’ll find out what he means in three to four years, but I’m guessing it means that some of the Sith survived. Sounds like a bad idea, but consider the fact that fans are saying that the current animated series, the Clone Wars, is better than all of the prequels combined."

There is no other official information at this time

Do you think he was referring to Chewie dying in Vector Prime? Maybe Lucas wants to erase that blunder, and the whole EU with it.

By the way, this isn't a bash on the EU as I like some of it, but Chewie's death was F**ked up!

That was one of the coolest things about Vector Prime. I loved that it got harsher and that main characters that we loved died, it was much more realistic and dark (which is the reason I really love the whole Legacy of the force and New Jedi Order series)

The Great Two: The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope
The Okay Two: Return of the Jedi and The Clone Wars
The Bad Two: Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith
The Unwatchable Garbage: The Phantom Menace

Just my thoughts on the "Two Conundrum".

.
Hilarious. That's awesome.

I watched the SE Trilogy this past week..I thought the video looked great upscaled on my PS3. C-3PO was a bit too yellow though..Audio was hit & miss. Some of the dialogue changes pitch or something during conversations..a few lines from Princess Leia in "A New Hope" for example.

Most of the changes in OT don't bother me too much..the changes that bug me the most are:

Han still not shooting first.
the Emperor change in ESB,
the added shuttle scene in ESB..
Boba Fett's voice in ESB..I don't think he spoke in the other two movies..?
the added/changed dance scene in Jabba's Palace in ROTJ
young Anakin at the end of the ROTJ

The only Star Wars movie I think is complete crap is the Phantom Menace..it should be 30 minutes.

ESB..still my favorite movie of all time. No question.

What changes are made with Boba Fett? Never noticed a change before and still do not having just watched it last night.

The voice of Boba Fett was done by Jason Wingreen for the original 1980 version and for the 1997 Special Edition version. For the 2004 DVD version Jeremy Bulloch's voice was used.

Wingreen had a much thicker accent and I liked it better, but of course Lucas wanted to match Fett's voice to that of the voice used for the clones in the prequels, which was why he changed it for the DVD release.

Same here. After watching that movie for over 20 years..(I was lucky enough to see ESB twice in 1980 and owned a bootleg VHS of it back then...) that one threw me when I first heard it..I had to watch the scene over again to make sure my hearing wasn't screwed up lol

Huh, I thought that was Temuera Morrison doing the voice all this time, he sounds just like him.

Boba's voice change and the real Emperor are my favorite changes in the OT, at least for consistencies sake.
