The answer is simple get 1-6 cause that set will have all bonus material and deleted scenes.

Getting them individually you get nothing.

Depends on several factors. If you want bonus materials, get the saga box. If you don't care for bonus features, or you're pinching pennies, do the separate trilogy box sets, or wait a little closer to release date for the likely price drop on the saga box.

That's $11.66 per movie, not even counting the special features discs. Not bad at all.

The differences are packaging and supplements (and, obviously, cost).

"Which is better" will be an individual decision based on your level of interest in those things. The movies themselves are identical.

It still comes out cheaper than the current $89.99 price on Amazon. And if any indication comes up that Amazon or any other retailer will have a price drop/lower price by the time the release date occurs, then just cancel the B&N order before it ships.

If they do a price match, will they be do it for everyone or just those who requested it? If it goes down that much I should be able to get it for free with my gift cards!

I just decided to check that Wal*Mart movie site that showed us the Podrace last week, and here's another one showing the model of the Acklay and some footage of AotC:

Attack of the Clones looks CLEAN!

Episodes II and III might be TOO sharp in HD.

Are you judging by those Wal-Mart videos? They look to me around 360 or 480 with plenty of compression artifacts.

Even at the resolution, you can tell...or at least, I can.

Well, they looked clean on DVD. There wouldn't be any dirt or print damage anyway because episodes II and III were filmed digitally instead of on film.

No. If he wants both trilogies, he will gain nothing by buying them separately. The Saga boxset has the 3 bonus discs, and is cheaper than both trilogies sets.

Same here. I have a gold box discount still applied, but I want it to drop as much as possible before I start applying my $25 GCs.

It's strange... though I fall into the 'detractor' camp, I am actually more excited about seeing the PT than the OT when this comes out, mainly because I'm really hoping the PT has grown better with time and avoidance. I can view it without the hype, since I haven't seen a single one since the theatre.

The OT I know every scene of, I already know what to expect.

Chance to talk to Lucasfilm about the new Star Wars Blu-rays. What do YOU want to know?

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/foru...u-want-to-know

Don't know if anyone would be interested in adding to the comments already made, but apparently questions can be put to Denis Muren & Matthew Wood & Kayleen Walters regarding the blu ray set at Home Theatre Forum. Enjoy!

"We will have the opportunity later this week to talk with Dennis Muren the Creative Director of ILM about the VFX of the Star Wars films, Matthew Wood of Skywalker Sound about the audio mix for the Blu-rays and Kayleen Walters from Lucasfilm Ltd about the Blu-rays.

What do YOU want to know?"

In fact it would be interesting to see what everyone would ask? It has only just gone up as few responses so far, but mainly wanting to know why no UOT, lightsabre colour problems (Dont' start, please), digital yoda for TPM etc

Isn't it way too late for that now? I mean, they are being RELEASED in a month from now, so I highly doubt they would go back and fix some things etc..

I am pretty sure they were in the know of all the complaints, requests and so on, so we'll see.

They should have done this 8 months ago, or sth. like that.
