I am pretty sure they were in the know of all the complaints, requests and so on, so we'll see.

They should have done this 8 months ago, or sth. like that.

Its questions about the Blu-rays themselves, not requests about what we want fixed.

How is B&N's shipping? Amazon's shipping is very reliable, and sometimes early. Border's has shitty shipping and B&N and Border's are like sisters (albeit bankrupt). BTW, if Amazon price matches B&N will that be for everyone, or just those that request it?

Don't know if anyone would be interested in adding to the comments already made, but apparently questions can be put to Denis Muren & Matthew Wood & Kayleen Walters regarding the blu ray set at Home Theatre Forum. Enjoy!

"We will have the opportunity later this week to talk with Dennis Muren the Creative Director of ILM about the VFX of the Star Wars films, Matthew Wood of Skywalker Sound about the audio mix for the Blu-rays and Kayleen Walters from Lucasfilm Ltd about the Blu-rays.

What do YOU want to know?"

In fact it would be interesting to see what everyone would ask? It has only just gone up as few responses so far, but mainly wanting to know why no UOT, lightsabre colour problems (Dont' start, please), digital yoda for TPM etc
They have posted that they hope to have answers to all questions posted (although no guarantees) on Saturday. Kenkraly has posted the same question twice under two id's, both kenkraly (priceless ). Why not ask something yourself?

Good for you ken, more chance of getting an answer the more the question is asked. I hope some of what has been raised here in the last 900 pages is asked, hopefully we will get some solid information coming back. Then again......

I completely agree. Considering the suggested price for the DVD set of just the original trilogy was somewhere around $45, and we're talking about a Saga blu-ray set seven years later, I think the price is just about right. Not that I wouldn't mind getting it for less, but I don't think $89 is unreasonable.

I don't think $89 is unreasonable either. Six Star Wars films in one box... that's less than $20 a flick. Then all the special features to boot? No way is that a bad deal.

With B&N you probably (almost assuredly) won't receive it on release date (I never have). You will get it that week though.

The price has now jumped back up on B&N too.

Thinking about holding out for a (possible) BF deal ala "BTTF."

AOTC was shot on a fairly early HD camera, I am actually expecting a degree of video noise going on. Time will tell.

Doubtful that amazon will adjust their price now that B&N's jumped back up so soon. Kind of a loophole in the price-matching game, companies can offer a very limited price and not worry about amazon stealing their customers...

Best part is ppl talking about what the bluray will look like. I saw them playing it at comic con and it looked fantastic.

it's already been proven that TPM has a new transfer and the pink hue is gone, but I never noticed the pink hue to begin with.

Really? I have not seen that anywhere, as long as it is not the digital cinema version again and a new 35mm scan.
