On Amazon.com, you mean.

Meanwhile, on Amazon.ca, it's still 29.73$. So as usual, the Canadians get f***ed over.

The films in this set will include Master of the World (1961), Tower of London (1962), Diary of a Madman (1963), Cry of the Banshee (1970) and An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe (1970).

Stay tuned for more details (when to pre-order, artwork, etc.) before the end of the year. And if you haven't done so already, pick up THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION II--which is now on sale at its lowest "price" at http://www.screamshocktober.com/sso/..._3_6DXLNQ.html
That seems to be just about everything that's left. Woot!

I would have liked them to include the 1939 Tower of London (even if Price is only in a supporting role) and The Bat, which would also have made it a 'full' six-film, three-disc box set, but them's the breaks.

It's almost like different countries have different economies and wage standards or something.

Everything is quiet regarding The Return of Count Yorga.

Good, bad, indifferent release?

My guess would be low sales so far.

Return of Count Yorga is a niche title that sadly not enough people know. Makes me wonder about the sales of the more known but also niche title Blacula.
Return is worth getting even with the crappy artwork

I wonder how many more announcements we should expect this month? I'd say another 5-8 are possible, though they might be holding some back for Friday 13th (November). I think we've had 4 releases announced so far this month (about 8 titles though). Certainly we'd had a few more this time last year, and as I said before the line-ups for February and March will need filling fairly soon. I could see them announcing a double feature of Murders in the Rue Morgue and The Dunwich Horror, a CE of The Curse, and maybe a double feature of Curse II and Panga. There must be a few more Universal titles in the offing as well (these will surely make up the bulk of whatever CE's we get in 2016, unless they do more double-dips of MGM titles like Return of the Living Dead).

Im pretty sure they will announce some on Halloween which falls on a Saturday this year.. or maybe the day before.. Im with you on the Curse 1/2 , Rue Morgue/Dunwich Horror, I hope they have Lady in White. Maybe they have more Universal titles from the current deal, but if not maybe they can land another deal with them. I think Id faint if they somehow got some Karloff, Lugosi classics outside the Frankenstein/Dracula series.
And they do have the old Lionsgate Arkoff titles which have only been released on MST3K sets. I believe some do have HD masters, so I really, really hope they will do something more with the titles. Hopefully its not only for MST3K rights

I also understand that the Morgan Creek library is up for grabs, and Scream has already worked with them on the Nightbreed release. It would be great if Scream could get Bad Moon from them.

As far as Universal goes, I'd still like to see Tales from the Hood and No Escape.

Scream Factory has put out some good stuff in 2015, and 2016 could be even better.
Yes, Tales from the Hood would be a great film to release. The DVD is non-anamaorphic crap. Hell even my Laserdisc of TFTH looks better than the DVD.

Scream Factory is primarily, but not quite exclusively, a horror imprint. I think it was because it was part of the closely related Post-Apocalypse Sci-Fi subgenre.

Over time, they've broadened the scope of the types of films that get released under the Scream Factory imprint. There have been a number of debatable inclusions the past few years.

With The Garbage Pail Kids Movie being perhaps the most dubious.

Who cares ? They release something for everyone. Garbage Pail Kids might indeed by Garbage to many of us, but it does have a fan base , just like all titles. There are some people who actually think Pumpkinhead II is a great film, and even a few of us who love Without Warning
Live and let live I always say !
