I buy damn near anything sci-fi made after Kubrick's 2001, but Best of the Worst did a good job showing me Alienator is nothing I need to see, let alone own.

I pretty much stopped watching them after FD3 but out of the first three, I found FD2 to be the worst. I put it at the bottom for the same reason you put it at the top, the absurdity and comedy just didn't jive with me. It's been awhile since I've watched it so maybe I'll need to re-access it but I don't see myself liking it much more.

FD1 on the other hand I've always enjoyed and I've got a special connection to it. I literally watched FD1 in the theater about 2 weeks before a school trip to Paris, which is the destination that the class in the film is going to

, fortunately we made it just fine but my mom was none too pleased when I told her what the film was about when I got home haha.

I enjoy their segments so I'll need to give it a watch beforehand. I had planned on picking up Alienator but they're a pretty good judge if something is entertainingly bad or just boring bad.

Ive heard LG is trying to get the rights back.. we'll see. Its just a matter of time before we get it.

I already have the German version, but I love the movie, so I will of course buy the US version. It has languished in obscurity for far too long, and it is a shame that it flopped when it was in theaters. I think the reason people don't like it, is because of the poor video transfers it has received in the past. The cinematography is pretty stunning.

Too bad we never got that third movie in the series, which Roddy McDowell was set to do. The story behind that is pretty crazy.

So Im guessing Autopsy of Jane Doe is not actually coming out 5/2 as I dont see that release date on the Amazon page anymore and it has yet to be officially announced or listed on Shouts website and they have since moved on to Junes titles.

I think Germany is good for genuine releases, I think Spain is the one that has quite a few bootlegs.

The quality is really good. I've read that some people think the source is from an HD broadcast, but who knows for sure. It could be the same source, but I don't mind, seeing it in widescreen for the first time was amazing.

I feel we're going to get another announcement in the vein of the obscure ones (Angry Red Planet, Jonathan Drake) again semi-soon. Though I could be wrong. Though I hope I'm right.
