I would ADORE a 20th anniversary Scream Factory for Blair Witch Project.
Attach the Sundance cut, put out The Woods Movie documentary that never saw a release, do new interviews... it's just begging for a special edition. And I would also love a nice release of Anaconda but I'm sure that's just me. |

THE OMEN was sorta creepy as a child, watching it now as an adult it's just... not good. Not awful, IMO, just not anything particularly good either. I get some degree of entertainment out of THE FINAL CONFLICT thanks to Sam Neil, but that's about the only positive about any of those films. |

I think The Omen is a bit slow & boring while The Exorcist is the only horror movie that still gets under my skin when I watch it.

I haven't seen The Exorcist in a long time, probably the late-90s or so when I was still in high school. I need to revisit it. However, I first saw The Omen maybe 5-6 years ago and thought it was one of the best, most suspenseful horror films I've ever seen.

Given that Warner Archive just announced Dracula AD1972, I suspect the Warner Hammer films with Scream are probably Crescendo and Hysteria (perhaps among others).

The Exorcist, The Shining, and The Omen are all great films and horror classics!
If anyone thinks otherwise, please post in the Unpopular Opinion thread ![]() |

And I've been mulling it over myself - what did you ever decide to do with your Scream Factory slips? Were you able to let them go, or do you still have them? I still have mine, but I sort of long to be free of the whole debacle... ![]() |

Okay, that's it. I feel a bit like I'm streaking through a crowded shopping mall, but I'm going to offload my slips. So how best to do it? I was thinking it'd be easiest to carefully flatten them and mail them in an acid-fee sleeve sandwiched between cardboard, inserted into an envelope mailer and sent First Class. Thoughts? I guess I could start a thread in the Buy/Sell section.

I'd sell my slipcovers if it was worth the time/effort. For $5 a piece it's not happening (packaging and shipping costs, packaging and shipping effort, having to worry about people complaining that they arrive with a speck of dust on them or a microscopic corner bend). Now, if someone wants to pay me $50 for any of my slips, I'll make the effort. Other than that, my shelves will remain a giant slip/no-slip mashup. Whenever I get something with a slip my initial thought is that I'm getting some sort of added value, but then when I actually go to watch the movie it's just more of a pain to take it off and open the case. In the end, I'm slipcover neutral.
