Great news on 8mm. Haven't seen it in years, but I've always wanted a blu release to revisit it. Always most excited about the previously unreleased stuff.

I thought about taking Sleepwalkers off my wishlist. It wasn't a movie I was sure I wanted to own a copy of, especially at Shout's new prices but I'd forgotten that Mick Garris directed it. Garris has made some really good horror flicks - for some reason I don't remember much about Sleepwalkers. All I know is that I thought I'd read that it was not considered very good. Gonna wait this one out until I see it for a good price.

Shout is giving us an 8mm release now, count me in, awesome movie. Now just give us The Craft date.

Pre-order a release on their site that is advertised for an early ship date, and then have them fail to meet that shipping time frame.

FINALLY got a response to my email. "It should be shipping later today"....so, we'll see.

Once again a month without a single SF title for me, great job Shout! Went with ´the new budget labels´ Vestron, Twilight Time & WAC instead for my US-Import-Orders. If at the beginning of next month the prices for the August titles will still be insanely high as right now, I will skip those completely. Not risking to get them overpriced and also maybe without slips for sure...

It doesn't compute to me why 8mm is a Scream title while Kalifornia is not. The latter has way more of a traditional horror vibe to it.

So I see Arrow's Candyman is getting both cuts and per Shout's site "Additional extras in progress and will be announced at a later date."

What are the odds of both cuts?

I need to see a few more Warner titles announced before I can proclaim 2019 as potentially the most exciting year ever. Any of these will do:

RE: Candyman, I believe the main difference is a bloodier death scene.

RE: Deadly Friend, this is going to be on TCM, noted as HD, on 10/6 at 2am. I got my DVR set!!!
