Gonna pass on Army of Darkness, Evil Dead & The Fog 4Ks. Going to stick with the editions I already own. Looks like the only things in Sept for me are the Super Sentai Fiveman DVD & the Kamen Rider Kuuga BD.

In my case, the post office simply folded the padded mailer in half to shove it in my mailbox. I didn't really need or want the poster, but the cardboard backing is insufficient protection for those that would.

If you line the discs up correctly it turns into a map to the Ark of the Covenant.

The figure is still showing available to me

I really like the 2013 Evil Dead movie but after having purchased both the theatrical edition as well as the unrated edition on Blu I'm not in any sort of rush to rebuy the film again (if ever). I am curious to see if the picture quality is substantially improved, but I'm leaning toward it being a modest improvement at best. That said, if it ever goes on sale for $20 I'm sure I'd jump on it. I don't much care for The Fog and so I likely won't ever upgrade the CE I already have of that one and the idea of rebuying Army of Darkness (which I don't expect to look all that much better regardless of the cut included in 4k) isn't all that appealing either.

the "modest improvement" thing seems to be so common on many of these 4k double/triple/endless dips.

I liked the EVIL DEAD remake just fine but my 2k steelbook is good enough.
ARMY OF DARKNESS has never been a favorite of mine-- my last Scream steelbook is also sufficient--

THE FOG is top tier to me so I'm interested in this release but I'm reading reviews first. The 4k editions of PRINCE OF DARKNESS and THEY LIVE were huge disappointments .........

Same for me. If anything, I will buy the Fog.....if they are not stacked discs.

Candyman 4K. There are several comments about scratches and playback issues in the Candyman 4k thread.

That's odd they would do that with a 3 disc set. Why not give it a swing tray like Halloween and Halloween II 4K's? Hopefully The Fog is safe from being stacked since it's a 2 disc set. I worry about Army of Darkness 4K with that being 4 discs.

True. The stacked disc (with scratches and playback problems) issue, is what kept me from buying the Candyman 4K....and will keep me from buying any other releases with stacked discs. I am hoping for the best, and the issue gets resolved.

Yes, when I saw the "The She Creature UHD + Poster" label ... wait a minute.

Curious if the person that created that tag is also the same that screwed the Ninth Configuration spine.

I watched The Flesh Eaters the other night, and enjoyed it. I'd watched the Criterion release of Blob the night before, so Flesh Eaters sort of paled in comparison, but its still a fun flick.

Where FE lacked in overall quality and effects, it made up for it with some decent gore for 50's B&W, and even more appealing was the sleaziness for a movie that old. The two female leads were both on display, and all the performances were pretty well acted.

The Flesh Eaters is definitely underrated and worth the watch, and a solid film for fans of trashy horror.

Putting this release of Cat People on the list of Shout! titles that I'll possibly get. A nice set of extras. Haven't got this film on physical media.

Yes, I've seen some of the discussion earlier in this thread about the corrected disc for Earthquake: CE (did a thread search for older posts about Earthquake before making my previous post).

Thanks for your help. I'd likely get Earthquake: CE from either Shout directly, Amazon or Deep Discount. I'll get in touch with Shout about the replacement disc, just in case I get a copy from the first pressing (if I get it from Amazon or DD).

Do you have Shout's Blu-ray release of Two Minute Warning?

Default It! and The Shuttered Room

Remember from earlier in this thread, very brief discussion about It! (the cast including Roddy McDowell) and The Shuttered Room. May end up getting the Warner Archive Collection DVD double feature of both titles, unless Shout end up announcing their own release. Have checked out both films, and I'm glad I did (both sound interesting).
