That would be nice, Tales From The Darkside needs a sweet bluray.

I can't think of any horror movies from Paramount besides F13.

Dead Zone and Darkside would sell well. Darkside HD on Netflix looked good.

I would be interested to see, what, if anything, Scream could do that would make the inclusion of the cut scenes better than what Lionsgate already did on the special edition release.

As one of the few oop Lionsgate releases I didn't pick up I just want it to be re-released so I can pick the film up for under $30. I would be curious to see what if anything else could be done with the film... though I feel just having it back in print would be enough for a lot of folks.

These would be amazing. Been wanting April Fools Day on Blu ray for years and a re-release of My Bloody Valentine would be awesome.

Kino had The Keep and it was taken away from them (I imagine Mann caught wind of it), so I very much doubt Scream would have more luck, even if they got a deal with Paramount.

Does anyone know if Shout ever does free shipping to U.S. over memorial day or anything like that? I'm about to place an order on their site and the shipping sucks.

They periodically have codes and/or sales that offer Free Shipping if you spend more than XX amount of money. There isn't an official sale planned for Memorial day but it's possible a free shipping or % off coupon could role out then, so if you don't mind waiting a week to order I'd recommend it.

For sure! I just named off what I could think of off the top of my head. Paramount has a fairly deep catalog that would be ripe for Scream/Shout Factory releases. (Come on Coneheads).

Does Paramount still own the rights to "The Stepford Wives" (1975)? I want that on Blu-ray so bad! The remake, too. Lol. I thought it was hilarious.

Oh! And "The Addams Family Values" 😎

No.

These titles were last released by Anchor Bay but that was from an old licensing agreement from the Media days.
I've heard Paramount paid them a very large amount which included remake rights. PM remade all three and released the originals on DVD, now they're all out of print and the very rich company expects the same type of payment for these titles from the next licensee, otherwise they say its not worth their time. I would be surprised if they every get released again in the U.S., unless they end selling the library outright which also includes few other Palomar titles or someone stupid overpays for them.
