Hey Barndoor, what do you think the chances are for a Scream release of my most wanted Hammer title, The Nanny (1965) ?

Personally... they can release all previous films that need an upgraded, as long as theres something new to add... interviews, 4k scans, etc... like slumber Party Massacre, the rage carrie 2, the funhouse, sleepaway camp 2 and 3, american gothic, etc

Shout owns everything Corman correct? I'd like to see things already released get an upgrade on blu, like Attack of the Crab Monsters and anything like it.

If the lawsuit between Roger Corman and his children still going on, it would delay all their home video releases.

Far from everything. They have the New Horizons Library, which according to the press release at the time was something like 270 titles. Not sure if Crab Monsters is part of that, though.

It's with Fox, which means it should be possible given they seem to be dealing with Fox again. Another to add to the list

They released Crab Monsters on a triple DVD in 2010.

The original Piranha release seems to be in print, still, so I'm not sure it means anything for any of the OOP titles.

That guy has sold over 900 copies of the film last I checked. I've watched his listing for years. I've often wondered if he was selling bootlegs since he had access to so many copies. I never did pull the trigger though... it's the last of the original corman releases that I was interested in but I held out for so long hoping to find it for $10. Now if/when I grab it it will likely be the steel book though I'd rather have the older style of packing with the new disc.

They all had a damaged UPC, so we will see how it turns out.

The Mummy's Shroud
The Reptile
Rasputin, the Mad Monk
The Devil Rides Out
The Abominable Snowman
X The Unknown
The Lost Continent
Four Sided Triangle
Slave Girls (AKA Prehistoric Women)
The Viking Queen

Then there are also the 9 StudioCanal titles, a number of which are likely to be with Scream:

The Horror of Frankenstein
Scars of Dracula
Blood from the Mummy's Tomb
Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde
Lust for a Vampire
To the Devil... A Daughter
Demons of the Mind
Straight on Till Morning
Fear in the Night

Also the Hammer titles with Warner (it's strongly rumoured that Curse of Frankenstein and Crescendo are coming from Scream). I haven't included those titles already released by Warner, a number of which could be CE candidates:

Curse of Frankenstein
Crescendo
Hysteria
She
Moon Two Zero

Finally there are still some Sony sci-fi/horror-ish titles yet to be released by Mill Creek or Twilight Time:

The Damned
The Stranglers of Bombay
The Terror of the Tongs

Also worth bearing in mind that Universal should have Shadow of the Cat.
Great research, as always. Thanks.

Those Shout Factory Corman DVDs are top notch and really don't need an upgrade. I'd much rather them focus their resources on the many films that haven't seen a home release in 20+ years. For someone who's been dutifully buying up Shout's Corman line since the beginning, its frustrating see all these re-releases.

Someone above mentioned Shout dealing with Fox. Isn't Turistas with Fox? Think I may have come to that conclusion here already but that would be a solid release from them that's never seen a NA release on blu. Also The Beach - Should Select would be a huge release. Although I doubt Leo would show for an interview.

Universal's 50s sci-fi output almost done.... Monolith Monsters coming 18th June, This Island Earth 25th June, and Monster on the Campus also 25th June:

I'm not really into these so I'd prefer one a month, but there are just a handful left now. Just Incredible Shrinking Man (I'd be interested to see if this is with Scream), Cult of the Cobra and The Leech Woman left from those old Universal sets now.

This brings us up to 5 releases for the month, not counting the delayed Lugosi/Karloff set. I wonder how much more we can expect? 3 tops I imagine. Hopefully we'll some something from the StudioCanal and Warner deals.
