Another one - Circus of Horrors coming 10th September:

And again, another title the Kino Insider believed was no longer with StudioCanal in the US. This leads me to believe that Scream might just have one or two of the following:

Theatre of Death
I Monster
The Johnsons
Food of the Gods II

Some of these may legitimately no longer be with StudioCanal, so we'll have to wait and see.

Well damn lol 7 announcements in one day, and it's only the 3rd... will there be more retros? Or are they just getting them all out in one day and be done for September?

I absolutely love Hammer films more than most horror and I am a sucker for upgrades. However, none of the new or upcoming releases have motivated to give up this...

Well we might get IT 1990 2-disc uncut CE, Company of Wolves CE, Beetlejuice CE, Freaked or whatever.

And what do you think of MST3K's version of This Island Earth?

Fear No Evil sounds interesting. Any good? Is that a StudioCanal title?

It is a SC title. I remember not being overly impressed when I saw it a number of years ago, but I'd be prepared to give it another go.

Never heard of Fear no Evil but after watching a few different trailers my impression is that it's "Carrie" but with a man instead of a woman. How far off am I?

I don't know how many more titles we'll get this month, since 7 is rather a lot. One or two more at best I'd have thought?

I'm not holding out any hopes for more Warner titles beyond more Lewton and some Hammer (unless they can get a new deal). I suspect next month we might see The Blob (88), Road Games, Freaked, The Terminator, etc. Of the Hammer, big guns like The Devil Rides Out and Curse of Frankenstein. If not, some of these big double-dips seem ripe to be announced at SDCC.

I guess Sony is now allowing extras to be produced by third parties since Vampires is a Collector's Edition. Or is that just because it has a slipcover?

Don’t need IT 1990 or Beetlejuice but maybe Company of Wolves, will wait till June announcements are done.

Here is a perfect example of the stupid shit the Kino Lorber Insider has to put up with sometimes:

I have absolutely no idea how that implies as stupid. That is just straight up fact. You're telling me that SF didn't do a great job with their Walter Hill releases?

But, this company is clearly supposed to cater only to a few individuals, and then when they announce titles those people don't want, and then force them to purchase at gun point....that's just too far.

Vampires is actually pretty underrated Carpenter in my book. Unfortunately, I have the Indicator release. Wonder if SF would consider a Carpenter boxset at this point...

Vampires works for me. Never got the TT release. Good to see they're getting more Sony titles as well.

The Blob would be welcomed as well. I could also see them doing Bats, Hostel Part 3, and possibly The Forsaken, which haven't seen releases yet that I'm aware of. Wouldn't be surprised to see re-releases of stuff like Hollowman, Anaconda, I Know What you Did Last Summer.
